Tournaments report #1 - 18.06.2019

in #steemmonsterslast year (edited)

Hi,

I took part in three tournaments yesterday. In all of them I managed to take an award winning place. Let's see how I did.

1. BIG POINTY THINGS - organized by: @steemmonsters.

Details: Gold League, All cards playable.

The tournament was participated in by 57 players and I took 24th place in it. This is the tournament in which I was least successful.

In the qualifying I played with @stepway174rus. I won 2:0 and went on to the next round.

In the second round I played with @sheikhsayem. He was the one who turned out to be better and went to the next round beating me 0:2. That's where my participation in the tournament ended.

2. WIN ESSENCE ORB + BATTLE TOKENS - organized by: @battlegames.

Details: Silver League, All cards playable.

The tournament was participated in by 18 players and I took first place in it. It was my best tournament yesterday.

In qualifying I got a free ticket and automatically went to round two.

In round two I played with @thekillingqueen. I won the battle on the rules: Keep Your Distance, and I've moved on to the next round.

In round three I played with @stokjockey. I won 2:0. I played my first battle as a rule: Little Leauge, second for rules: Melee Mayhem.

In round four (semi-finals) I had to fight @jose27117. I won 2:0 again. This time the first fight was for rules: Armored Up, the second one was for rules: Keep Your Distance.

In the finals my opponent was @navorn. The final was played up to two wins. The first battle was fought on principle: Lost Legendaries. The second one was for rules: Reverse Speed. Also in this round I won 2:0 and thus won the whole tournament :)

For first place, I got Essence Orb. I was very curious about what was inside so I opened it right away.

3. BRING YOUR BRONZE A-GAME - organized by: @steemmonsters.

Details: Silver League, All cards playable.

The tournament was participated in by 43 players and I took second place in it. It was also a very successful tournament.

I played in qualifying with @minishark. Unfortunately, I won the first battle through a walkover. In the second one I hit the Fog of War rules and won. I went to the next round with a score of 2:0.

In round two I played against @masterthematrix. He won the first battle (rules: Lost Legendaries). In the second battle, that was the rule: Rise of the Commons. This time I was the one who turned out to be better. I also won in the third battle. My water team turned out to be better for the rules: Silenced Summoners. I went to the next round winning 2:1.

In round three I played with @alphasattack. In the first battle, for the rules: Up Close & Personal, I won. The second battle (rules: Fog of War) was won by my opponent. The third battle was won by me (rules: Lost Legendaries). We played it with the same cards, but my formation turned out to be better. I went to the next round with a score of 2:1.

In round four my opponent was @contestking. I knew it would be hard ;) I won the first battle (rules: Aim True). In the second one my opponent turned out to be better (rules: Up Close & Personal). You should have focused on the next fight. This time I was the one who was better (rules: Super Sneak) and I went to the next round winning 2:1.

Round five was the hardest thing for me. I was quietly hoping that this meeting would take place in the final. My opponent was @jacekw. In the first fight (rules: Keep Your Distance) we put up very similar teams, they only differed in the order of cards. Fortunately my team proved to be better. Another fight is the rules: Unprotected. Here my opponent was the upper hand. In the third battle (rules:Up Close & Personal) we played similar teams again, but my death team won. I made it to the finals by winning 2:1. Sorry @jacekw, maybe next time ;P

In the finals my opponent was @simoneg. The first battle (rules: Taking Sides) I won. Unfortunately, three more belonged to my opponent. Congratulations! In the second battle (rules: Keep Your Distance) we issued very similar teams, which differ in the order of cards. In the third battle (rules: Keep Your Distance) we played with a mirror. In the fourth battle (rules: Weak Magic) we both played the white deck, but it was my opponent's team that was better. I lost the 1:3 finals.
