Nice post, it's fun reading about the history of these super rare cards! That gold Archmage is like the Black Lotus of Splinterlands. Will be interesting to see what happens to these in the future too.

I remember I saw a Black Lotus for "only" a few hundred dollars at a card convention when I was a kid, and always regretted that I didn't pick it up back then.
