My first podium place!

(Edited)

Yesterday I came in second in a Bronze tournament for the very first time. Usually I end up in the top 32, sometimes maybe the top 16. But I never got as far as this before! Unfortunately I was savagely crushed by my @peakmonsters guild mate @byzantinekitty in the final.

Still, I'm proud to have made it to the top rankings. Especially because in such a Bronze tournament it is not so much about card levels, but the strategy and how you play your opponent.

What I didn't expect was the whole thing to take 1.5 hours... Maybe I shouldn't have competed in this tournament starting at midnight as I'm super tired now.

But the prize was worth it. 🤑

Hello! It was good playing you with my alt (byzantinekitty). Sorry we had to fight and that I defeated you.

Nice job making it to the finals!

Yes, a typical tournament (from beginning to end, if you make finals) is going to take 1 - 1.5 hours. Particularly large tournaments might take upwards of 2 hours, though that is rare.
