How can one player be so lucky?? No potions, but great cards.

Last season I talked about how lucky I was and that I didn't need any kind of potions to pick up GF and LEGENDARY cards. Day after day the cards fell in my favour and I went on a lucky-streak that was unbelievable. I show off the cards I picked up HERE.

Well I learnt pretty quickly that I should have kept my mouth shut and just enjoyed the good run of fortune I was receiving, because no sooner had I shared the blog, my lucky spell was over!!! OR WAS IT??

We're reaching the business end of the season and, as I'm sure I've mentioned many times, my strategy is to make my way up and hover around SILVER I & GOLD III, before attempting to push for DIAMOND right at the end, and nothing has changed this season.

Well it looks like I'm back on a lucky streak as the daily reward cards have been incredibly kind to me again. I've probably gone and shot myself in the foot now and it will be back to "rusty androids, sea genies, wood nymphs and vampires" from here on in, but I just had to share how fortunate I've been AGAIN, with out any potions.

It started 3 days ago, in GOLD III:

First card, straight off the bat, an EPIC Brownie... I love this card, not only is it rather valuable, but low manna a d some amazing abilities makes it a must for the EARTH splinter playing deck.

The Prysmatic energy is a solid card with high life and reflect, definitely one to think about when your opponent loves WATER splinter. Put it behind Lord A and reflect pretty much wipes out your enemy.

But when your card starts to shake before turning over, your excitement ramps up to a whole new level!! I love my lvl 2 Unicorn and is my LIFE splinter go-to tank. With "heal" and "piercing" it's a great card.

Then 2 days ago:

The usual deck fillers and a GF "Sea Monster". Nothing spectacular about the Sea Monster, but still Gold Foil is Gold Foil. Well, if truth be told the Sea Monster is by far my sons favourite card and now I have enough of the GF variety to level up to where it has thorns, he's quickly becoming a beast of a tank for the WATER splinter.

Then yesterday:

BOOM!! Another Sacred Unicorn.... I'm very quickly building up a nice stockpile of these Legendary beasts. I've also noticed that their value has started to climb lately. It was down at $1.70,but now is well over the $2 barrier. At this rate, I'll be able to retire on my @steemmonsters deck value before long.

I probably shouldn't have shared this with you, because I can guarantee it will have ended my lucky run, but when you get 2 LEGENDARY and a GOLD FOIL card in a row, it's too good not to.

I've got a few hours to wait till my next DQ, but I dare to dream that a LEGENDARY GOLD FOIL will be comimg my way! If it does you all be the first to know.
