You should be getting in the Gold league easily with Lvl6 summoners. That's what I use and regularly hit Diamond near the EOS.
I too looked at Heron's but it all seemed so complicated I didn't bother. I do sell the cards I don't use, but struggle to sell golds. Not that they are hard to sell, I'm just related to magpies.
Silvershield Archers is a cheap card, but at (2) makes it in my lineup a lot. Double strike is better than it looks.
looking forward to the mobile app being available.
You can play on your regular phone, it's a little tricky but I have been doing it for months now.

Yeah, I know I can play on my phone, but the page just doesn't respond well. Like I said, I am lazy! Would you be concerned about potentially losing a good card but gaining DEC?
I like to have control of my assets..., Oooooh.. that came out wrong! So would always play the game.
It takes around 30 mins per evening and has become a ritual. I can play it at work sometimes. I dont play for the sake of it, just do the DQ's.
That is mostly what I do, just the daily quests.
