Western Norway, (Vestlandet) an amazing journey of 200 miles by car in a beautiful landscape Part 2

avatar

The counties we have driven in are Sogn og Fjordane,
and Møre og Romsdal.
And we have visited many of the towns and cities in the counties.

Unfortunately, it was mostly cloudy, rain and fog on our journey,
but it did not stop me from taking pictures.

But now the sun is shining

Share some pictures with you from
the beautiful scenery we've experienced on the trip.

Among the green mountains made with white tones, under the blue sky, between streams and animals, is @xpilar and his family, enjoying the western of Norway in a small house, the climate has been varied but it has not allowed him to give us fantastic photos .

Good day @xpilar, beautiful photos, some make me remember our beautiful mountains and Bolivar peak in the state Merida (Venezuela).
I will tell you that your country of birth has some spectacular landscapes and so you see a very rich climate.

Nice landscape @xpilar, on the picture with the houses that are covered with moos and greens, does anyone live in those houses or is it just decorative? I am glad you have had some sunny days. I think if you have some nice rain and windproof clothes with you, that should be fine to be outside :) We looked at Geiranger, absolutely beautiful place, seems that the hotels all booked. I believe summer is peak season because of tourist, what is then other alternative from weather point of view late spring or early autumn?

Hi @stef1

The cabins you see are mostly used in winter for ski trips.
June and July are high season, but I can recommend May and August for trips to the west of Norway

Wow!!!
This is looking so beautiful, mountain at both sides while the speed road was constructed in-between, when I was a kid whenever we took one road near the state capital, I feel like hope this mountain won't go down hehehe... Such a childish thinking hehe..

Thanks for share your experience with us.!!!
