Splinterlands Weekly Battle Challenge with Peaceful Giant.

Welcome to my blog where I'll share my winning match with Peaceful Giant in splinterlands. And with this post; I'm going to join SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge! Peaceful Giant.

To be honest, I don't know why this monster is still in my card collection. I went to the market at first to buy one for the battle challenge and then I've found out that it's already in my collection which means, it's in my collection for a long time and I wasn't aware of it and which means I haven't used this monster on the battlefield like forever. Actually, I don't feel like using a monster without any attack power on the battlefield but I've seen some opponents using this monster at a high level. This monster gets only bigger health at a higher level and nothing else.

I used my Peaceful Giant is in level 1 with 1 speed and 8 health without any kinds of abilities and it needs 5 mana to stay quiet on the battlefield.

  Yeah about that... In this match; I've played with the death splinter.
Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?
- Yeah, my strategy worked out perfectly and I'll try to use similar helpful monsters next time if I need to.

A Brief Info About The Match

The battles mana cap was 27 with the "Standard" rule where I've used the death splinter and my opponent also used the death splinter against me.

My Lineup.

I had my Haunted Spirit in level 1, Peaceful Giant in level 1, Phantom Soldier in level 1, Darkest Mage in level 1 & Twisted Jester in level 1.

And my opponent had his/her cards as Haunted Spirit in level 1, Elven Cutthroat in level 1, Centaur in level 1, Haunted Spider in level 1, Skeleton Assassin in level 1 & Cyclops in level 1.

After I've selected the Zintar Mortalis as the summoner, I wished to use the Peaceful Giant at the front as the sacrificing goat and then magic monsters but then I've changed my mind and used the Haunted Spirit at the front and then the Peaceful Giant after the melee monster cause I wanted the melee monster to kill some opponent monsters before they get to my Peaceful Giant. Then I've used two of my favorite magic monsters and the one and only Twisted Jester at last and probably I forgot about the chicken otherwise I'd use it on the battlefield as there was still a place left.

Let me talk about monsters that I used in this battle.

No 01: HAUNTED SPIRIT ^{(RARE Death Monster)}

This is the melee attacker of death splinter which I use in every battle that I play with death splinter if it's available for that battle. One of the finest monsters of death splinter. I like its power, especially its "Heal" ability.

My HAUNTED SPIRIT is in level 1 with 2 melee attacks, 2 speed, 7 health with the "Heal" ability, and this monster need 5 mana to play.

No 02: PEACEFUL GIANT ^{(COMMON Neutral Monster)}

I used my Peaceful Giant is in level 1 with 1 speed and 8 health without any kinds of abilities and it needs 5 mana to stay quiet on the battlefield.

No 03: PHANTOM SOLDIER ^{(EPIC Death Monster)}

I still remember those days playing battle with death splinter where there was this monster. Then when I added this monster to my deck, I could see its beauty... the beauty in its action. With "flying" ability, this monster is the best fit in the earthquake ruleset and it has so nice powers.

My PHANTOM SOLDIER is in level 1 with 2 magic attacks, 3 speed, 8 health with "Flying" ability, and it needs 8 mana for the battle.

Nor 04: DARKEST MAGE ^{(EPIC Death Monster)}

This seems the Doctor Strange of splinterlands.

I'm very very thankful to Gerber as he delegated me a Darkest Mage in level 6 and then I started using it and got to know its nice features although I'm using this monster in level 1 right now which I own myself.

This magician is so cool that I wish to play every battle with him/her.

My Darkest Mage is in level 1 with 1 magic attack, 2 speed & health and it needs ONLY 2 mana.

No 05: TWISTED JESTER ^{(RARE Death Monster)}

It's my favorite monster in splinterlands which is Twisted Jester.

I'm a big fan of this card from the beginning of my splinterlands journey so I don't need to check on its ability.
Twisted Jester is a good fit for the match for its special abilities and high attack, speed, health.

Oh, I like that clown a lot.
He doesn't talk but he bites, so be careful.

My TWISTED JESTER is in level 1 with 2 ranged attacks, 3 speed, 4 health with "Snipe" ability and it needs 4 mana to play.

In my personal opinion... Peaceful Giant is not a fit for the ruleset for not having any kinds of attack powers.

The same thing happened to both teams for the special ability of the summoners of both teams. We both had one melee monster each that had more than one melee attack and we both had the same summoners who can manipulate and decrease a melee attack of the opponent team's melee monster who has more than 1 melee attack. Then... Skeleton Assassin of my opponent started the battle with its first attack on my Twisted Jester and then my Phantom Soldier attacked and killed 2 health out of 7 of the Haunted Spirit of my opponent. Then my Twisted Jester attacked Centaur of my opponent and killed half health and right after that, the Centaur of my opponent returned the favor but not on my Twisted Jester but it attacked my Peaceful Giant who was seating right there in peace. Then the Elven Cutthroat of my opponent attached my Twisted Jester and my Twisted Jester lost half of its health till now. Then my Dark Mage Attacked and killed 1 more health of the Haunted Spirit of my opponent and that opponent monster healed back 2 health right after that and attacked my Haunted Spirit. Now my Haunted Spirit healed back its health as well and returned the favor by attacking the opponent Haunted Spirit. Then Cyclops and the Haunted Spider attacked my Haunted Spirit and they've finished the beginning round after all.

A new round began and after two attacks, my Twisted Jester attacked and killed the Centaur of my opponent, and right after that, the Elven Cutthroat of my opponent attacked and killed my Twisted Jester. I felt like the Elven Cutthroat and the Centaur of my opponent had a nice connection. Maybe it's like they fell in love after they've found themselves so close on the battlefield and the Elven Cutthroat avenged the death of its loved one. Then a lot of attacks happened there and my opponent team almost killed my Haunted Spirit but their Haunted Spirit missed the target although my team also tried to kill the Haunted Spirit of my opponent.

My opponent team was so rude and killed all my monsters except the Peaceful Giant and the Phantom Soldier and they still had 5 monsters left. Now that only my Phantom Soldier could attack while all five monsters of my opponents were ready to kill the last monsters of my team with sword and arrow and rocks.

Now when my Peaceful Giant was backing up, my Phantom Soldier started showing his wrath by killing the Haunted Spirit of my opponent at first. Then all other monsters of my opponent team kept attacking my Peaceful Giant until a new round began when the Skeleton Assassin sneaked and attacked my Phantom Soldier.

At last, my Peaceful Giant died after having so many attacks from my opponent's monsters. Then my Phantom Soldier attacked and killed the Haunted Spider of my opponent at first then the Cyclops of my opponent tried attacking my Phantom Soldier but it missed the target cause my Phantom Soldier evaded the attack for having the "Flying" ability and then the Skeleton Assassin of my opponent attacked my Phantom Soldier on the new round.

This is the moment when I got sure that I was gonna win the battle after killing the last melee monster of my opponent which left my opponent with only one ranged monster and we know ranged monsters can't attack from the first position. Then my Phantom Soldier kept attacking the only monster of my opponent until it died and it needed 3 more rounds.

The battle got finished in round 10 while my team only had the Phantom Soldier alive and it kinda saved the day. It was indeed a fantastic battle that my team fought. And my Peaceful Giant did well in backing up my Phantom Soldier and that giant died a hero.
