# Happy Endings - Splinter Stats Season 46 Report Card

Well, this was an odd season for me. Everything was going pretty much according to plan and then I was away for almost 4 full days close to the end of season, only being able to play a few matches with my phone every now and then. Luckily, I got everything sorted out just in time for the last day of the season so I went in battling hard and managed to place at a rating of 4,570 just minutes before the end of season. I quickly checked the leaderboard and was pleasantly surprised to see that it was enough for the top 50. With only like 10 minutes to go there wasn't any more I could hope to gain from there so I stopped playing at that point.

I managed to come in at #48 for the season. Not in Champion I but a top 50 finish is always great and with the missed playing time in the days prior that's way more than what I had hoped for. I'm really happy I finally managed to fight into the top 50 on the last day of the season as that's usually where I struggle most. My win rate improved as well, from 1.24 last season to 1.28 this season.
I'm a bit sorry about that highest rated win against bubke as that was around 40 minutes before the end of season and it probably cost him a top spot to loose that match.

Not too many surprises in the summoners used. Yodin Zaku still reigns supreme. My win rate with him is up almost 5% compared to last season. I've also bought a Hydra during the season and hell, that card is sick with Scarred Llama Mage!
As I had already noticed last season, I'm not that good with Daria Dragonscale. I've managed to recover from the abysmal 37% win rate but 46% is still nothing to be proud of so I'll focus on getting that back to at least 50% for next season.
I also still need to utilize Zintar Mortalis better. I love Owster Rotwell but both champions probably would have better win rates if I used Zintar more...

Undead Badger and Hydra are the cards that moved up most and looking at their win rate, there's still a lot of room to improve. As always with new cards, it's a learning process to really understand when to best use them.
Serpentine Soldier is quite the gem with 77.5% win rate but only played 6.72% of the time. Maybe I need to look into that option more.

I'm happy to see my win rate for Noxious Fumes back at 66%! I love that ruleset as it really changes the way you look at your monsters. At the same time I'm obviously pretty bad with the Holy Protection ruleset. I need to better understand what monsters to use in that situation as neither of my preferred builds (heavy burst and heavy sustain) seem to work too well with it.
Little League is another ruleset I loose a lot which is mostly due to the fact that I lack the right summoners and some low mana cost cards for some of the splinters. Melee Mayhem is the worst of all, though. I'm pretty shocked by that miserable 27.78% win rate. I really need to focus on fixing that fast!

In terms of rewards, I was super lucky this season. Yesterday, I found a golden Almo Cambio in my quest rewards. So far, there are only 16 gold foil copies in existence for the card and the only card listed on the market right now is valued at 150$. Jackpot!
This puts me at an amazing 86,570 DEC from ranked play rewards which is the best I've had so far!
I'm super happy with the way the season went and while I have a lot of catching up to do still, I'm also looking forward to more interaction with both Hive and Discord. Tomorrow I should be back with another proper article and since I've taken a week off after Easter I should be able to publish a lot more articles again in the coming weeks.

I'm surprised you can get in top 50 and not be in Champ 1 but I'm not surprised you can get there and not play every day. It seems to be that lot of players in the big prizes play very little compared to the lower leagues and just go for it on the last couple of days.

Some seasons ago that wasn't possible at all but it seems every season there are fewer players that end up in Champion I. Might be an issue with the algorithm, not sure, but it seems like it'S getting harder and harder to get there every season...

I think fewer people are playing in Champion and just leave it to the season end or stay in Diamond.
There's someone in Discord right now saying they advanced league without thinking and now they can't find anyone to play. She'd tried 4 times when she posted.

Nice prize of the Gold Almo. I've found them really slow to find. Haven't seen one on my main account yet.
Seems that every time I look at Llama and Zaku their prices have gone up. I'll get there eventually 😂
It's only my second gold foil legendary every after having found a gold foil Spirit Miner almost a year ago :-)
