Bella, My Savior

“You will go to the market to get me the pumpkin from the old woman who always supplies us. Is that understood?” Mrs. Dan said this to her daughter, who was so happy to go to the market. Alesia is just 12 years old. Her best friend, Bella, her dog, whom Alesia has taken care of since her birth, perched watching Alesia. She has poured out all her love for Bella and must always take care of her, no matter what.

“Mum! Will you allow me to take Bella with me?” She was gazing at her mom, expecting her to say "yes.”.

“Just leave Bella behind. You will not be fast when you go with Bella," his mom said as she turned to what she was doing.

Alesia immediately rushed to where the dog (Bella) was and asked, “Won't you want to go with me?”

Bella nodded, showing a sign of concurrency. Alesia walked towards her mom with Bella and asked Bella, in the presence of her mom, “Will you go out with me?” Bella nodded once again. There is a strong love between Bella and Alesia. After much pressure, her mom still refused to allow Alesia to go with Bella.

She walked out of the house with her little wheelbarrow angrily.

She got to the market where her mom directed her, and she asked the old woman to give her what her mom sent her. She turned, trying to look at the market and everyone in it and how people were trading, before sighting a white dog from afar. Without being told, she immediately recognized the dog. “Bel … l …a. I knew you would come after me," she shouted, and she ran to give Bella a considerable hug and lift Bella up.

Bella began to run around Alesia, showing a sign of love for her. Bella was excited to see Alesia. Alesia smiled at Bella and proceeded in her quest.

The old woman carried two pumpkin fruits in her wheelbarrow, and immediately Bella jumped on the wheelbarrow.

“Miss! Can you love someone the same way you love your dog?” The old woman asked as she saw the true love she had for her dog.

“That question does not exist in my dictionary. I love everyone, but my dog is exceptional," Alesia replied.

“But why is it so?” the old woman asked.

“She has saved me several times. My mom told me how Bella ran as fast as a jet just to get my drugs from the house when I was unconscious at my aunt's house. Bella had also saved me on other occasions, which I was told, and with these series of events, I can only love my dog, Bella," Alesia said.

“I can see that within you," the old woman replied.

Alesia was on her way to the house when Bella jumped from the wheelbarrow and was playing with Alesia. Bella sighted an incoming vehicle, which Alesia was unaware of. It was moving towards Alesia before Bella jumped and flew up, just like a superhero. Bella pushed Alesia, and her wheelbarrow was left in the road. The incoming vehicle smashed the wheelbarrow to pieces, while Alesia fell to the floor as a result of the push from Bella.

Bella wanted to chase after the car but saw Alesia lying flat on the floor. Bella was barking seriously just to call the attention of people, but no one was passing by. The road looks empty, with just a few houses. Without wasting time, Bella rushed to a nearby building, barking. The owner of the house became fed up with the barking and came out. Bella made the young lady notice Alesia lying down, and immediately she ran to carry her. The young lady carried her to her abode, as she was a nurse. It was just a coincidence. She immediately took care of her and made her lie down and have some rest.

Alesia's mom has waited too long for her daughter and decided to take a walk just to see if she would be found. “The last time I called the old woman, she said my daughter had left her place. Where else would she have gone this late? She has never for once, gone so late before," Alesia's mom soliloquized.

She tried to walk towards the path and walked a little farther, and then she saw her daughter's wheelbarrow. “This is Alesia's wheelbarrow smashed on the road. What happened to my daughter?” She asked, but no one was there to tell her what had happened, as the path was quiet. She began to weep, crying profusely. “My only daughter!” she yelled and shouted, “Alesia, where are you?”

Bella heard her voice and jumped out. The way Bella jumped kept the young lady surprised. But after a short while, Alesia woke up while Bella directed Alesia's mom to the young lady.

Alesia immediately asked of Bella when she woke up, but within a few minutes, she saw Bella and her mom. This made her happy. Bella rushed and was happy to see Alesia up again. Her mom was happy but asked what had happened. “You need to thank Bella so much. She saved me, but i guess the driber did not wait to see what had happened," Alesia said.

“Thank goodness that Bella followed you. I was initially rejecting you from taking Bella along," her mom said. She took Alesia home and forgot about the broken wheelbarrow.
