Can It Be A Gift Of A Luck?

Rodger and Maya are a couple who are so dedicated to each other. They have no kids. Rodger is 60 years old, while Maya is just 50 years old. They have tried all means to give birth to a child, but it always seems not to work out. After several trials, they gave up the vision of giving birth.

After three years, Rodger got involved with radiation, which seemed so dangerous, but he was still fine after the contact with radiation. A year later, Maya got pregnant, which surprised them so much after the doctor's report.

“Does that mean I can still get pregnant?” Maya asked her husband.

“This is what I can call a miracle," Rodger replied.

The doctor confirmed one child, but then she gave birth to a twin. The first one came out with ease, but the second one was through operation. The operation was successful, and the two genders happened to be boys.

Kh-ali-li
They named them Nikolas and Drey. Drey was the last born. One day, after five years, Maya and Rodger started seeing some special talents in Drey and Nikolas that they were unable to understand.

One day, when Drey woke up, he drew closer to his dad and told him, “Dad! Your brother will die tomorrow by noon and by a road accident.”.

“Why must you say a thing like this?” his dad asked.

“I saw him when he got into an accident with his car driving towards the ancient bridge. He made a head on the considerable tree along the roadside, very close to the bridge.” Drey tried to explain what would happen to his uncle tomorrow.

“I believed you in one way, and the other way did not believe you as a child who can just say a word without thinking," Rodger replied.

“Dad, it's going to happen no matter what," Drey argued.

While prolonging the words, Nikolas, who had gone to play outside the compound, came back and met Drey and his dad, arguing about what he did not know.

“Dad, I think you should go to the bridge and cut off the tree," Nikolas said, while his dad was left confused.

“Are the two of you joking or telling the truth?” Rodger asked as it was no longer a story.

“Have the two of you discussed this before now?” Rodger asked.

“What are you saying, Dad? I only said my mind and nothing else", Nikolas said.

“But how come you said something related to your brother?” Rodger asked. “Maybe it's a coincidence or because we are twins,” Nikolas replied.

This got Rodger thinking, as he must listen to his children. It's getting late, and Rodger must get to the bridge just to cut down the tree to avoid his brother having an accident.

“Let me try to ask my brother if he would travel in that direction tomorrow," Rodger thought. He gave his brother a call immediately: “Hello, André!”

“Hello, brother!” His brother replied on the phone.

“Are you going to work tomorrow?” Rodger asked.

“I'll go; hope there's no problem?” Andre asked.

“No, I was just trying to tell you to help me do something at home tomorrow," Rodger said.

“I must go to work tomorrow, or else I will be sacked,” Andre replied.

“But you will have a… ", as Rodger wanted to reveal the reason he wanted Andre to help him, Nikolas and Drey entered. Rodger could not say a word to his brother.

“If you reveal the reason, you will not be able to stop it from happening, as it will still happen when he is going through that route," Nikolas responded.

“Dad, I can see the future," Drey said while Nikolas uttered, “I can solve the problem of the future." Rodger just sat mute without saying a word; instead, he raised his voice and called his wife, Maya.

“Please, wife! Hear what your children are saying."

“What do they say?” Maya asked.

“Drey and Nikolas, could you repeat yourself?” Rodger asked.

“Mum, I can see the future," Drey repeated.

“Mum, to me, I can solve the problem of the future," Nikolas repeated.

Without wasting any time, Rodger went straight to the bridge and cut down the tree. The next morning, Rodger was just afraid, as he was not ready to lose his only brother.

As he wanted to put a call through to his brother, his brother's call came in. He got afraid and answered the call. “Hello, Andre, Are you okay? I hope nothing happened; I hope you did not have an accident." Rodger asked several questions.

“How did you know?” Andre asked.

“Never mind, I will tell you when you get back," Rodger said.

“I had an accident, but the tree that was cut down saved me greatly. I am safe without injury. It's just the headlamp of my car that got broken", Andre said.

“Oh, thank goodness," Rodger replied with deep relief.

Rodger called his doctor to examine his children, and the doctor said, “Your kids are special kids who can see the future and prevent bad occurrences from happening. This was a result of a flash of radiation from some radioactive materials. Either you or your wife have come into contact with radiation before they were born.”.

Immediately, Rodger recalled how he got in contact with radiation when he was carrying out a test during radioactive decay.

“Yes, I got in contact with radioactive radiation some years ago. I never knew it would come to this level", Rodger said.

“Some people can harm people when it comes to this aspect, but your kids chose a better path," the doctor said.

“Wow, I will make sure to take good care of my kids. They will use it to exploit and save lives, just as they saved my younger brother's life," Rodger replied.

He called his brother and explained it to him. Andre was happy to have been saved by Nikolas and Drey.

You write an interesting story. The twins are born when they were not expected. This in itself was remarkable. Then, because the father is exposed to radiation, they are born with extraordinary ability--they can see into the future. While the story has a clever premise, it's hard to accept that radiation will result in such an outcome. However, this is a story and it is not real, so we accept what the author proposes.

It's just a fiction story. I knew it can't happen on a normal day.
