Dare, The People's Savior

"I don't understand myself anymore. Anything I touch always turned to good luck to people and anytime someone drinks from the cup I had dropped, the person gets healed", Dare lamented, but he never knew that was a blessing to him. No one knew about his magical life except his mother who was not able to tell him the truth until the right time.

One fateful day, Dare went to the village Town Hall where they were having a meeting with the king and the chiefs. Their discussion was about the recent infection that has been giving the villagers serious problems.

There was a general tap people always drink water from. "I'm tasty and need to drink some water, he said as he bend wanted to drink from the tap, an aged woman who has infection stopped him and told him to use the cup instead of bending down to drink from the tap. "Why can't you use the cup?" The old lady asked politely as she was sitting beside the tap waiting to calm her taste.
"Thanks ma'am", he paid gratitude to the old woman after drinking the water from the cup. He never sees it as a general or public cup but he drank from it.

The one woman shifted a bit but was not able to stand. "Can I help you Ma'am ", Dare was feeling for her condition.
"Yes, my son and thanks"

Dare had to fetch water from the tap and give to the old woman to drink. As he was waiting to collect the cup from her, the woman collapse and after few minutes. Dare was shocked and started shaking where he was, but waited without shouting unt few minutes, she revived back again. "I felt something strange deep inside of me", the old woman looked at Dare as she stood up so strong.

"Do you mean that you are now strong and the infection is no more in your body?" Dare was left in shock, but could not figure why and how it happened. "This may be a miracle", Dare added.
"Yes, a miracle but I don't know how it happened and where this forces came from. I felt like a baby without problems right now and the whole sickness in me are no more", she was still surprised on how fast she was healed.

The news hot circulated and so many people in the town believed that the water from the tap would have saved the old woman. Those with infections proceeded to the public tap and fetched water from it. They drank water from the tap and was expecting healing. After few moment, they saw no healing. Some of them still surprised of how this fast healing would have happened.

Dare was not surprised of what had happened in his presence bit had nothing to say about it.

One beautiful morning, he proceeded to the market to get some stuff. He saw so many people that gathered in the market square struggling to walk just because of the infection. As he walked past them, he felt tasty and bought a table water from a shop. "Please, can you give me some from the water you are drinking?" One of them asked politely as he was so tasty but had nothing with him. Most of them are not going to the fa, neither are they trading just because of this infection. It has taken over the whole village and now spreading to the nearest village.

"Here", Dare gave the young man the left over water with him to drink.
"Hey, boy! What did you give to my brother to drink?" A lady beside the young man shouted as she watched her brother collapsed. Before saying a word, Dare ran as fast as he could.
"He has killed my brother and must be killed", the lady shouted as boys ran after Dare chasing him. He hid himself in a place where no one could be able to find him. They ran past him without seeing him and came back.

Words spread round the town on how a boy killed. Some boys recognize Dare. They ran to his house with sticks and whips. "We must kill him today", they all shouted. As they got to his house, the door was locked and they dropped all their whips and woods down just to notify him that the youths are looking for him.

He could not come out fr.the hidden place.

"Hey, hey!! My fellow youths, he's awake", the sister shouted in excitement.
"What just happened?" The young man asked.
"The boy who have you water poisoned the water that you drank", his sister tried to explain how he got fainted.

"You got it wrong. Where is the young boy who gave me the water to drink?" He asked.
"We chased him and we don't know where he had ran to. We could not locate him as he ran too fast", she explained.

The young man stood up feeling free and relieved of all his sickness. All of them. No sickness was left in his body. His injuries hot hilled and he was now looking so young. He was as young as a baby.

"I have no infection in me anymore and all the sickness ine had gone finally. We need to search for this boy so he can hill everyone in the town with the infection. He's a blessing to our town", the young man, standing so fit and sickness free looked around his body as he insttuct his sister and the youths to find the boy not to harm him but to honor him.

"Wherever you might be, come out. The king want to honor you for healing a man in the market square", the town crier echoed out.

"Why should I come out? Maybe they are using this medium to find a way to punish me", he said in his hiding place.

Meanwhile, the man he healed walked along with the town crier. "I'm fit and healthy, please, I need to reward your deeds", when he raised his head from his hiding place, he recognized the man, bit then was still in doubt.

He sneaked home and met his mum and the kinsmen discussing with his mum. As they wanted to leave, they saw Dare coming from nowhere. Immediately, he picked raise.
"Please come.back, son", his mum echoed. As he heard the voice from his mum, he decided to turn back.

He was told that the said man did not die instead was healed through the water he have to him. He recalled back how an old woman hot healed after drinking a water from the cup he had used.

He walked straight to the water tank and drank water from the tank by using his hands instead of cup. Everyone who drank water from the tap got healed totally.
