Hello again players, here I am for another challenge of the week, and in this post I will talk about the media challenge, which I consider a great possibility to share experiences with you about the last week playing Splinterlands and also about what I learned in the community .

image.png

This week we had the end of the season that took place, which lasted about 15 days. I finished again at bronze rank 1, and for the same reason as last time, lack of power. My strategy will be to continue for a while until I get the necessary powers, through the cards I get in quests and end-of-season rewards, and then try to keep myself at the silver rank, so that I earn more DECS per game and more chests at the end of the season, being able to get more power and it becomes a self-sustaining process to earn more and more rewards.

MY REWARDS:

image.png

I really liked the rewards given to me in the 9 chests that are given to players who finished the season on Bronze 1. 2 rare cards and 1 epic was what I was waiting for, in addition, I got a total of 33 credits, which can be used for renting cards to play in matches, becoming very useful for replacing cards.

FIRST CHAMPIONSHIP

In this old season finale / new season beginning I participated in my first Splinterlands championship, and even though I didn't do so well in these first games, I really enjoyed the experience and I will certainly participate in the next ones to come in order to gain knowledge about the game.

I find it interesting for more beginners to enter championships, because it is possible that you can play with more advanced people, and in this way be able to see strategies they use and be able to evolve in some way through this gained experience.

LETTERS THAT HIGHLIGHT THIS SEASON

At the beginning of the season, I'm already using some cards that I like to try to climb faster (of any element) I'll highlight the one I like the most to give as tips and when they should be used.

image.png

The rare card Serpent of Eld is the tank that I will recommend for you. In certain situations this card is ideal as the composition tank, as it has 2 shield and 5 health this will not be the position that has the most life, however, its ability and its amount of damage make it worth using it in the your deck. The card has an incredible 3 damage, which makes it probably the biggest source of damage on your team, and its biggest differential: The Dodge ability, which consists of Melee or Ranged monsters having a high chance of missing the attack. on the card, and causing it to take no damage. In compositions against elements that consist of physical damage, and that you seek to use the dragon or water element, this for me is the main card to be the option of your tank.

image.png

Another card that I'm really enjoying using is the rare earth element monster, called Child of the Forest, because it only costs 3 mana, it's a very cheap option as the sniper of your composition. Because the earth element usually uses magic damage as the main component of the composition, this card can be very good for balancing the damage type of your deck and thus being able to affect all types of opposing teams. In addition to this advantage, the card also has a great ability called Snipe, which always seeks to attack ranged monsters that have magic damage, thus always seeking the enemy's flank and ending the opponent's damage dealers. I find it interesting to use it in games with little mana available, as it is a very cheap option to attack the flank.

image.png

When looking to play with the life element, I really like using the Stitch Leech card as a cheap option for a physical attacker that has a lot of damage. The card has 2 attack damage and the Sneak ability, which allows it to target the last monster on the enemy team, making it a great card to attack your opponent's marksmen, being a cheap option that can kill 1 marksman in just 1 marksman if he has less than 3 health. The ideal would be to place her in the second or third position to gain maximum time while allowing maximum damage on the enemy flank.

image.png

Last but not least I want to mention the Soul Strangler card, being a rare monster element card. I find it interesting for its cost benefit, for only 3 mana, the card has 2 attack damage, being a very cheap option for decks with less possibility of spending a lot of mana in the game rules and that you've already used a lot of magic damage in your composition, balancing your deck in a good way. I recommend it against an earth element or even a monster element composition, as it doesn't do very well against cards that use shields, which normally in other elements.
