Battle Mage Secrets Challenge - Lost Magics

Greetings to all and sundry on this great platform, I welcome you all to my blog and today I write to participate in this week's challenge. This is going to be my fourth participation in the weekly challenge and I am very happy to be part of the Splinterlands family. I hope that you guys would like my entry. Without much ado, I would like to go straight to the purpose of this post. Today, the battle ruleset is "Lost Magic" and I would submit my entry to that here in this post including a video of my battle.

Per the Ruleset of the game, Lost Magic, Monsters with Magic attacks may not be used in battles. I used my personal account @abu78 to participate in this battle. I am currently playing in the Bronze stage. Before I showcase the battle here, let's briefly look into the Ruleset of the game.

Lost Magic
Don't use Magic Reflect monsters or summoners. Focus on high speed and abilities like Flying, dodging, and Blind. Thorns and Shield are the key in this ruleset.

Lost Legendaries can be found with the following Rulesets

Summoner:

I chose the YODIN ZAKU summoner so that my monsters would get an increase in magic attack ability. It was a 32-mana game condition and I have to manage my card selection to suit that. In using the Yodin Zaku summoner, my monsters gain the blast shot ability and also an increase in range attack. Also, my summoner increased the lives of my monster by one as well. Having Pyrewatch Devil would help that monster to increase in health anytime it attacks. Also, Tinderlock monster at the last position is a great strategy so that it can increase in ability when left alone on my lineup.

1st Position:

Scorch Fiend, this card has no special ability. It has one melee damage attack, two speeds, and then one life. It is a level-one monster with zero mana cost.

Round 1:

Firstly, all monsters took their effect from the summoner by gaining extra range attack ability, extra live, and the blast shot ability as well. Also, the abilities of the monster also took effect before the first round began.

His Venari Crystalsmith monster attacked first and eliminated my first-position monster without it causing any attack. He followed up an attack from Pelacor Arbalest which double attacked and caused 6 live damages to my monster (Molten Ash Golem). At the end of the first round, he eliminated two of my monsters and I was able to eliminate just one monster from his lineup.

Round 2:

Round two began, and my monster (Tinderlock) attacked first and eliminated Venari Crystalsmith monster with the blast shot ability gained from the Yodin summoner. I eliminated two of his monsters at a go with the blast shot effect.

I was left with three monsters after the end of round two and my opponent was left with two monsters. I gain confidence in winning the battle at this stage because my monsters left were strong one to be defeated so easily.

Round 3:

In this round, I was left with three monsters to face my opponent's two monsters. I was having an advantage over him because of the blast shot ability of my monsters.

At the end of the round, I was able to defeat his monsters left with ease and emerged victorious after this round. It was a short round battle and we didn't keep long as it happens in some battle.

This was how the battle went and I lost this one. I think going with blast ability monsters when the lost magic ruleset is given is a good one. It was a good selection for me in this battle and I think my strategy for going in for the *YODIN ZAKU summoner was a great one. Thank you all for your time and attention for going through my post.
