Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge - Silenced Summoners

Greetings to all and sundry on this great platform, I welcome you all to my blog and today I write to participate in this week's challenge. This is going to be my fourth participation in the weekly challenge and I am very happy to be part of the Splinterlands family. I hope that you guys would like my entry. Without much ado, I would like to go straight to the purpose of this post. Today, the battle ruleset is "the silenced summoners" and I would submit my entry to that here in this post including a video of my battle.

Per the Ruleset of the game, Summoners do not give any stat buffs or debuffs or grant/use any abilities. Use a summoner with no abilities to preserve mana. I used my personal account @abu78 to participate in this battle. I am currently playing in the Bronze stage. Before I demonstrate the battle here, let's briefly look into the Ruleset of the game.

Summoner:

I chose the MYLOR CROWLING summoner. It was a 27-mana game condition and I had to manage my card selection to suit that. I chose the Mylor Crowling summoner so that my monsters would have the thorns ability whenever any monster attacked by melee.

1st Position:

Venari Marksrat, this card has a Matyr ability so any monster that is adjacent to it would increase in stats whenever it dies. It is a 3-mana monster with a speed of 1, 1 range damage attack, and 2 health with 0 armor protection.

Round 1:

First of all, all monsters took their effect from the summoner by gaining extra magic attack ability. My lineup was made up of five monsters including; Venari Marksrat, Fungus Fiend, Kron the Undying, Psychic Goblin, and Regal Peryton. His lineup was made up of five monsters including Lichen Beast in the first position. When I saw that, I realized this battle was going to be a long battle before a winner could be decided.

In the first round, the Regal Peryton monster in my opponent's lineup attacked first with its magic attack. Lichen Beast then attacked and eliminated my Venari Markstrat monster in the first position. Kron the Undying then increased in stats and then attacked it with four magic damage. Whelp Herder with its opportunity ability was able to attack and eliminate my Fungus fiend monster at the last position. The other two attacks came in from my opponent but Psychic Goblin healed back my monster's health. At the end of the first round, two of my monsters were already eliminated.

Round 2:

In this round, similarly, the Regal Peryton monster from my opponent's lineup attacked and eliminated the Lichen Beast monster on my opponent's lineup after which Kron the Undying also attacked and eliminated the Whelp Herder monster at a go.

Fungus Flinger then took over his first position. His Kron attacked mine and inflicted three damages whilst Psychic Goblin at the back healed the health back. At the end of the second round, I eliminated one more monster from his lineup and we were both left with three monsters each.

Round 3:

In this round, as usual, Regal Peryton attacked his monster and eliminated the fungus flinger which also increased the stats of his Kron the Undying monster.

At the end of the round, I eliminated one of his monsters and I was in a good position to win this battle.

Round 4 to 5:
In this round, I had the confidence to win the battle. Because I was having Psychic Goblin and Krong the Undying whilst my opponent good attacker monster was just that of Kron the Undying. I eliminated Kron in the next round and also eliminated his last monster as well.

That was a quiet interesting battle from there, I didn't expect to win the battle at the fifth round, I was thinking we would battle to a higher rounds more than that.

This was how my battle went and I won it with the strategy used. I think using the Mylor Crowling Summoner really helped me to win this battle. It was a successful selection for me in this battle and I think my strategy for going in for the Mylor Crowling summoner was a great one.
Thank you all for your time and attention for going through my post. A link to my battle is provided here Battle Link
