Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge - Broken Arrows Ruleset

Greetings to all and sundry on this great platform, I welcome you all to my blog and today I write to participate in this week's battle mage secrets weekly challenge. I am very happy to be part of the Splinterlands family. I hope that you guys would like my entry. Without much ado, I would like to go straight to the purpose of this post. Today, the battle ruleset is "BROKEN ARROWS" and I would submit my entry to that here in this post including a video of my battle.

Per the ruleset of the game, Ranged attack Monsters may not be used in battles I used my account @abu78 to participate in this battle. I am currently playing in the Silver league of the Wild Format. Before I demonstrate the battle here, let's briefly look into the Ruleset of the game.

BROKEN ARROWS

Ruleset Icon	Description
Broken Arrows	Ranged attack Monsters may not be used in battles. A high HP first monster with Void ability will deal with both melee and magic. Give your tank a backup with a tank heal support. Using Thorns or Magic Reflect is also very useful in this rule set. Defend against either Magic or Melee attacks by using the right summoner and then using monsters' abilities to deal with the other attack type.
Magic Reflect	when hit with Magic damage, does reduced Magic damage back to the attacker. Deals damage equivalent to the attacker's damage divided by 2, rounded up. The damage is reflected even if the attacker does not hit. Summoner Owster Rotwell gives this ability to every friendly monster at the start of a battle

Summoner:

I chose the "MYLOR CROWLING summoner". It was a 14-mana game condition and I had to manage my card selection to suit that. I chose the Mylor Crowling summoner so that my monsters will have the thorns effect ability. I added the Quora Towershead monster which has the bloodlust ability so it increases in all stats when it eliminates any monster.

1st Position:

Fungus Fiend, this is a zero mana card with a speed of 1, one melee attack, and 2 health with 0 armor protection.

Round 1:

First, all monsters took their effect from the summoner by gaining extra armor and speed. My lineup was made up of three monsters including; Fungus Fiend, Quora Towershead, and Mycelic Morphoid.

In the first round, the Pelacor Bandit monster with the highest speed attacked me first and eliminated my Mycelic Morphoid monster but also had damage on the armor due to the thorns effect. Subsequent attacks came from my opponent's monster and was able to eliminate my Fungus Fiend monster as well. In this round two of my monsters were already eliminated.

Round 2:

In this round, the Pelacor Bandit attacked first with melee damage followed by subsequent melee attacks from his other monsters.

The Quora Towershead monster was able to eliminate one monster and then increased in all stats after that. At the end of the round, my opponent was left with five monsters.

Round 3:

In this round, the Pelacor Bandit monster attacked first, after which it was eliminated by the thorns effect on the Quora monster with the aid of the summoner's effect. Quora then increased in all stats again and magic attacked and eliminated two of my opponent's monsters.

At the end of the round, my opponent was left with two monsters and only one could attack while the last one had no attack unit.

Round 4 to 5:
In this round, only one monster from my opponent could attack me and for that I Quora was able to eliminate the two remaining monsters in the last two rounds and that was the end of the battle.

This was how my battle went and I won it with ease. I think the selection of my cards especially going in with magic cards was a great idea.
