Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge - The Equalizer Ruleset

Greetings to all and sundry on this great platform, I welcome you all to my blog and today I write to participate in this week's battle mage secrets weekly challenge. I am very happy to be part of the Splinterlands family. I hope that you guys would like my entry. Without much ado, I would like to go straight to the purpose of this post. Today, the battle ruleset is "EQUALIZER" and I would submit my entry to that here in this post including a video of my battle.

Per the ruleset of the game, The initial Health of all Monsters is equal to that of the Monster on either team with the highest base Health. I used my account @abu78 to participate in this battle. I am currently playing in the Silver league of the Wild Format. Before I demonstrate the battle here, let's briefly examine the game's Ruleset.

EQUALIZER

Ruleset Icon	Description
Equalizer	The initial Health of all Monsters is equal to that of the Monster on either team with the highest base Health. Don't use high HP monsters and focus on high damage. Try to use a lot of monsters as well. Having a Tank Heal, Thorns, and Triage for defense helps a lot.

Summoner:

I chose the "OBSIDIAN summoner". It was a 16-mana game condition and I had to manage my card selection to suit that. I chose the OBSIDIAN summoner so that my monsters would have an increase in magic attack by one. I included the Moxian Rebel monster so that the two adjacent monsters gain the magic attack ability from its taunt ability. My team lineup comprised the following; Mycelic Morphoid, Failed Summoner, Moxian Rebel, Chaos Agent, Wood Nymph, and Fungus Fiend.

1st Position:

Mycelic Morphoid, this card has the thorns ability. It is a 1-mana monster with a speed of 1, 1 melee attack damage, and 2 health with 0 armor protection.

Round 1:

First of all monsters took their effect from the summoner by an extra magic attack damage to all my monsters. My opponent's lineup comprised six monsters including the Chaos Agent, Radiated Scorcher, Gobalano Soldier, Tenyii Striker, and Flame Mephit.

In the first round, the Gobalano Soldier monster with the highest speed attacked first and before that, it attacked before the round started because of the ambush ability. Chaos Agent and Failed summoner attacked with magic damage after which the Tenyii Striker from my opponent lineup attacked and eliminated my last position monster. Wood Nymph restored the health of Mycelic Morphoid after which it attacked and eliminated the Chaos Agent in my opponent's lineup.

Round 2:

In this round, the Gobalano Soldier monster attacked first with a melee attack after which four magic attack damages came from my two monsters.

The Tenyii Striker monster also attacked my last position monster. The Radiated Scorcher monster attacked my Mycelic Morphoid monster and with the thorn's ability, it was eliminated. At the end of the round, I was having five monsters whilst my opponent had three.

Round 3:

In this round, the Gobalano Soldier monster attacked first and was eliminated by the thorns ability on the Mycelic Morphoid monster.

At the end of the round, I was able to take down two of my opponent's monsters whilst I was left with four monsters.

Round 4:

In this round, my opponent could not attack me because the range monster in the first position couldn't attack from there.

My four monsters left were able to take it down in the fourth round with their magic attack damages.

This was how my battle went and I won it with ease. I think the selection of my cards especially going in with magic cards was a great idea.
