Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge - The Stampede Ability

avatar

Greetings to all and sundry on this great platform, I welcome you all to my blog and today I write to participate in this week's battle mage secrets weekly challenge. I am very happy to be part of the Splinterlands family. I hope that you guys would like my entry. Without much ado, I would like to go straight to the purpose of this post. Today, the battle ruleset is "STAMPEDE" and I would submit my entry to that here in this post including a video of my battle.

Per the Ruleset of the game, Trample will retrigger infinitely as long as the trampling unit keeps killing other units. Prime use case for Summoner Possibilus the Wise. I used my personal account @abu78 to participate in this battle. I am currently playing in the Bronze league. Before I demonstrate the battle here, let's briefly look into the Ruleset of the game.

Ruleset IconDescription
Stampede
The Trample ability can trigger multiple times per attack if the trampled Monster is killed. Higher HP and speed are the key in this ruleset. Dispel helps to remove Trample.

Stampede can be found with the following Rulesets

Summoner:

I chose the SCARRED LLMAGE summoner. It was a 19-mana game condition and I had to manage my card selection to suit that. I chose the Scarred Llama Mage summoner so that my monsters would have an increase in health by two and also affect my monsters with the last stand ability. It also cleanses any negative effects inflicted on my monsters. I kept Kron the Undying at the last position so that it would take care of the last-stand effect and increase in stats to help me win the battle. Also, I added the failed summoner to reflect the magic attack from my opponent.

1st Position:

Failed Summoner, this card has the magic reflect ability so any monster that attacks it by magic will also be inflicted with damage. It is a 2-mana monster with a speed of 2, 0 damage attack, and 4 health with 0 armor protection.

Round 1:

First of all, all monsters took their effect from the summoner by gaining extra magic attack ability. My lineup was made up of three monsters including; Failed Summoner, Fungus Fiend, and Kron the Undying. His lineup was made up of five monsters as well including Fungus Fiend in the first position.

In the first round, the Kron the Undying monster in my lineup attacked first and then eliminated the first monster of my opponent, after which the Goblin Thief monster on my opponent's lineup also attacked my Kron the Undying monster with 2 melee damage. The Khmer Princess monster on my opponent's lineup also attacked my Failed Summoner and received magic reflect damage. At the end of the first round, I eliminated one of his monsters.

Round 2:

In this round, similarly, the Kron the Undying monster attacked the Failed Summoner of my opponent's monsters but I received a magic reflect damage as well. The Goblin Thief attacked Kron the Undying monster again after which Khmer Princess attacked my failed summoner with its magic and received a magic reflect damage and it was eliminated.

At the end of the round, I eliminated his failed summoner monster, whilst I still had all my three monsters intact. My opponent was then left with three monsters as well.

Round 3:

In this round, as usual, Kron the Undying monster attacked the failed summoner monster and then eliminated it but also received the magic reflect ability damage as well.

At the end of this round, I eliminated one of his monsters as well and then his Unicorn Mustang monster came in the first position.

Round 4:
In this round, a similar situation happened just as we saw in round three but then in this round, my failed summoner monster was eliminated.

I was then left with two monsters just as my opponent. In the subsequent rounds, the last-stand effect from Kron the Undying helped me to eliminate the remaining two monsters on my opponent's lineup. It was a great battle and I am glad to emerge victorious in this battle.

This was how my battle went and I won. I think the last stand-effect summoner I used here really helped me indeed to win the battle. Also, using Kron the Undying and then failed summoner was also a good strategy in winning this battle.
Thank you all for your time and attention for going through my post. A link to my battle is provided here Battle Link
