Greetings to all Splinterlands warlocks, I am here once again, and I welcome you all to my blog as well, Today, I write to submit and share my entry to the Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. This week we have a topic that goes by the theme "writing anything amazing about the Splinterlands game". I will be sharing my Land experience in the game with you all. Without much ado, let's dive into the topic straight forward.

One of the most interesting and amazing features or updates in the game was the introduction and implementation of Lands in the Splinterlands game. Many Splinterlands warriors were so eager to wait for this update and finally, it was done for us. I had never considered such a thing present in the Splinterlands game until it was introduced. The Lands were sold previously before the release of the update which included how the activation of all Lands to start working.

I did not have any Land by the time when the presale of lands was ongoing but then now, I have a common land which I am working with at the moment. Lands can be common, rare, epic, and or legendary by rarity, and when it comes to land type, we have natural, magic, occupied, and kingdom.

We also have the geography of lands which is 12 different geography types for lands and they include; Mountain, Badlands, Lake, Bog, Plains, Caldera, Canyon, River, Swamp, Desert, Forest, Hills, Jungle, and Tundra. These are special abilities on every land in the Splinterlands game.

The lands in Splinterlands work by selecting workers and your cards serve as the workers. You will first need to have a worksite after which you get a Power Core or a Runi to activate the remaining working sites or spots. Once that is done, you will need Dark Energy which is equivalent to the power of your selected cards which is supposed to be staked.

To start earning from the Lands, you will have to first construct a farm after which your workers start working and once it gets full, you can harvest your grains. Also, you can farm SPS as well by changing the settings from grains to SPS.

With my land, I have started harvesting a nice amount of grains and I am hoping to switch my harvest to SPS very soon if possible. Mostly, I only harvest when it is 100% completed. Note that for every harvest, you will pay some percentage as tax, and also some grains will be used to feed your workers as well.

Note that every card has a production ability that influences how fast your workers can produce grains per hour. I don't have much bigger cards so my production per hour is quite less but manageable. One amazing thing about harvesting is that you can luckily earn totem from your lands and that is a plus for you. Mostly, for common lands, it is quite unusual to earn totems but for legendary and epic lands, you can earn totems from grain harvest.

I am hoping to earn some totem in the game one day and I believe and know that for sure, I will earn that from the Splinterlands game. Thank you all for your time and attention, I am looking forward to seeing you all in my subsequent posts.
