Today I want share a new and exciting experiencemy Splinterlands journey. Many people play the game, and many have not started yet. But for those who love blockchain, NFT and strategy card games, Splinterlands is a really great game. And for me, it became even more special today, because I bought a powerful summoner in the game for the first time and got a great victory in the first battle using that summoner.

Decision to buy a new summoner

I had been thinking for long time that I needed have a powerful summoner in my team. Especially in ranked mode competition has increased so much that it is becoming difficult win without good cards. So I decided—I don’t want to miss the opportunity if I want it.

Finally, I spent $32 and bought a summoner named Eternal Tofu. It is as beautiful to look at as it is powerful. After receiving the card, I really felt that using it would definitely make a big difference in performance.

Eternal Tofu Why is the card so special?

Before buying the card, I took a good look at its abilities. Its special abilities are—

+2 buff — adds a positive boost to one or more cards in your team.

Awakened Beast Ability — It affects the entire team, especially in attack and defense.

Powerful stats, which help you survive longer in battle.

I knew that if I could use this card correctly, my team would become more balanced in battle. And thats exactly what happened in next part.

First Battle A Mix of Excitement Strategy

The first thing I did after getting my new Summoner was participate in a Ranked Battle. Even before match started, I felt like todays match was going special for me.

My opponent during battle was NIGHTMARE15 whose card level and team combination were also quite strong. I thought the match would be difficult because his team had high-level cards. But as soon as I activated Eternal Tofu, a kind of extra power started working in my team.

The cards I had in my team were

A tank card, which would stand in front and absorb damage

Some ranged and magic attack cards

And finally, Eternal Tofu, to give boosts and effects from the backline

The match started I noticed that my cards were performing better than expected. Eternal Tofus boost increased their defense, while also strengthening their attack.The opponents sharp attacks were quite strong for a few rounds but my team was able resist them steadily and strategically.

Turning the Match

In the 4th round match I saw that even the opponents strongest card had started weaken. And this was the most important moment in the turning point match. My ranged cards kept hitting one after another. No one was dying so quickly because of the Eternal Tofu boost.

In the 5th round when half opponent cards were gone I realized that I would win today and that was because use new Summoner.

The joy and reward of victory

The match ended in the 7th round. A beautiful text appeared on the screen—

VICTORY!

With a +20 point increase in Silver III rank. I also received:

124 Glint

0.266 SPS Reward

The victory was as exciting as it was mentally soothing. It felt like—yes, the $32 cost was not in vain. My Summoner really strengthened the team and played a big role in the victory.

What this experience taught me

This battle taught me a few important things

1. A good Summoner is the heart of a team.

Choosing the right Summoner can change the performance of the entire team.

1. You should always consider buying cards investment not an expense.

Because the better card the higher chance winning—and the more you win greater the reward.

1. Strategy is the key Splinterlands.

It's not just about having strong cards its also about where how you use them.

Todays experience was really special for me. Buying a new Summoner, going into battle using it and winning in first match—it was all very enjoyable.
