¿What is King of Duels?
King of Duels is a free-to-play digital TCG (trading card game) focused on using creatures, spells and other means to reduce your opponent's total life to zero. Drawing inspiration from Yugioh and other similar games, King of Duels aims to be a unique playing experience that is still familiar to TCG vets. Unlike most blockchain games, King of Duels is a fully functional game in which players can expect a complete PvP (Player versus Player) experience from day one.

A Winning Strategy
A typical game of King of Duels takes place between two players who take turns playing cards from their hand on the board either to mount an attack or prepare their defenses. With more than 120 different cards available at launch, players will have multiple options to build a deck of 20-30 cards to play. Winning strategies will not only involve selecting cards that synergize well with each other, but will also require knowing how to place your cards and when to trigger your tactical plays.

Champions
They are all the cards that have power and resistance statistics and that can attack or defend themselves. These are divided into two categories, which are Heroes: cards with abilities and Creatures: cards without abilities
Creatures
Being the most basic form of Deployable card, Creatures will typically only have stats without a Passive or Ability. These cards will often be used to deploy Heroes and Champions by “sacrificing” the chosen Creature(s) to Promote them into the newly Deployed card.
Heroes
Unlike Creatures, Heroes will almost always have a Passive or Ability in addition to their stats. While not every Hero will be deployed by Promoting another card, more Heroes than Creatures will need to be Deployed through Promotion.
Paladins
Being some of the strongest deployable cards in the game, most champions will need to be deployed via promo and will typically have passives and/or abilities. These cards will often serve as theme enablers or gain conditions within a deck thanks to the above-average power they bring to the board. These cards will be implemented with the habitat or kingdom and to be able to deploy it requires energy. Currently this card is not yet implemented but soon they will be available to use.
Ambush
Ambush cards must be Prepared before they can take effect or React to a specific circumstance or situation in any subsequent turn. While most will have combat-related effects, some will also defend against non-combat attack. actions such as force discard effects or card promotions.
Runes
Rune cards can be played directly from a player’s hand during their turn, but they don’t React to gameplay situations like Defenses do if Prepared. Once Prepared, players can activate Runes as needed during their turn(s) to achieve a wide variety of effects.
Campeones
Son todas las cartas que tienen estadísticas de poder y resistencia y que pueden atacar o defenderse. Se dividen en dos categorías, que son Héroes: cartas con habilidades y Criaturas: cartas sin habilidades
Criaturas

Héroes

Paladines
Siendo algunas de las cartas desplegables más fuertes del juego, la mayoría de los paladines necesitarán ser desplegados mediante promoción y normalmente tendrán pasivas y/o habilidades. Estas cartas a menudo servirán como potenciadores de temas o condiciones de ganancia dentro de un mazo gracias al poder superior a la media que aportan al tablero. Estas cartas se implementarán con el hábitat o el reino y para poder desplegarlas se requiere energía. Actualmente esta carta aún no está implementada pero pronto estarán disponibles para su uso.
Emboscada
Las cartas de emboscada deben ser preparadas antes de que puedan tener efecto o reaccionar a una circunstancia o situación específica en cualquier turno posterior.
