Djinn Chwala carrying me with Thorns [Share your Battle Weekly Challenge]

Hi im back with another Share your Battle post, this time I'm focusing on Djinn Chwala, a new reward card i got from a daily chest.

At level 1, Djinn Chwala is pretty tanky, with 5 armor and 9 health. Its attack is decent at 2 melee, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, thorns!
When hit by a melee attack, a monster with Thorns will deal damage back to the attacker (2 damage normally, or 1 damage if the attacker has Shield ability.)

Many of you probably know this ability from Mylor Crowling, but now we have a monster who has Thorns ability starting from level one.
I find myself using this card pretty often when I'm using dragon splinter (Mostly because i also own this card lol)

In this battle, the ruleset is Super Sneak with a mana cap of 30.

I didnt know if my opponent would use alot of melee monsters or not, so i decided to use dragon splinter and death cards. This is my lineup:

I used Djinn Chwala at the back to deal with any melee sneak monsters, as thorns will take care of them easily, Even though he is at the back, he can still attack due to the ruleset so im not sacrificing any damage putting him here.
I also used Harklaw and Gloridax Guardian in the 1st and 2nd position, and filled in the rest of my slots with cheap damage. Since I had extra mana i also included a Oozing Slime, the Slow ability is quite useful sometimes.

My enemy used a mostly magic team, with Tank Heal and Repair ability to sustain. Fortunately a few of my cards have sneak and I was able to bypass their tank and slowly kill their support cards as well as their damage dealer.

Their tank, Kralus, and the Immunity ability so my slime's Slow didnt affect him. Kralus also had Flying ability and more speed than my entire team so we missed a lot, allowing Kralus to take down most of my team.

You can see above that Kralus has 5 hp, and from the below pic i only did 1 damage while he deleted most of my team😢

By this point most of my team had also fallen, however i still had my Djinn Chwala at full health

Thorns dont miss, so while he attacked me, i was able to deal 2 damage every turn back to Kralus. And i won🎉

Here's one more battle since I've really played Djin Chwala alot recently and i dont really see many others using him.

In this low mana matchup, I figured there was a high chance that the enemy would use melee monsters so i went with Djinn Chwala and Naga Assassin, also a new reward card. Sure enough, my opponent used a Clay Golem with venari Crystalsmith.

I was able to deal 5 damage per round(including damage from Thorns) while Venari Crystalsmith only healed 2 hp each round. Djinn Chwala also had more Health and more armor, so i was able to take hits and win the game.
