Cryptopotato, You Deserve Your Name. A Whole News Article Dedicated To Splinterlands, But Not One Word About Hive...
If you read my blog for a while, you probably have noticed I'm an ardent media critique because I know how traditional media is creating news and manipulating the masses with such content and how bastards some journalists are. That's why I refused to "do the job" after I graduated Journalism.
The crypto community was supposed to be built on different pillars, trust and transparency being two important ones, but looks like crypto media outlets are biased and manipulated same as the shitty traditional ones.
A few minutes agom this report came out: Warner Music Group Partners With Blockchain Gaming Developer Splinterlands. When I saw the tweet with the link to the news I instantly opened it because I was expecting some Hive shilling, since we're talking Splinterlands, which is a Hive based play to earn game.

According to the "games website", although not being a player yet, one can definitely read, through other typical welcoming information that once you register on the site, a Hive wallet is automatically created for Hive. What does that mean?
IT'S A FREAKING HIVE BLOCKCHAIN GAME...
From what I know, @aggroed is behind it and he was also quoted in the report regarding the partnership between Warner Music Group and Splinterlands, but no damn word on Hive... I mean, come on... what's wrong with the blockchain, why wouldn't the outlet at least briefly mention it?
Chayanika Deka is the author of this article, that I linked in that paragraph above and she's gonna have some comment from yours truly on this matter. I simply don't understand why we don't get exposure for Hive, even when we have the chance... What's wrong with these people?
I read the report entirely just to see if there is any Hive mention, but nothing. Other than that, I don't give a shit about Warner and Splinterlands partnership. I'm just pissed of about this lady not mentioning Hive, when she should have and I'm thinking of buying myself some Hive stickers for my car and do the shilling myself.
I'm proud of Hive, it's a blockchain with history and pedigree and I want the whole world to know about it.
Thanks for attention,
Adrian

Don't worry, we will let them know what #Hive is. 😉

It would have been something if they had the decency to mention Hive.

I guess I was the fortunate one to find the only news not mentioning Hive :))

🤣🤣🤣 Happens. The important thing is that you found the news. 🔥🔥

Haha this has become a common theme with Splinterlands and Hive.
The most probable cause for this is that article writers never used Hive and DPOS protocols so the whole concept of a Hive wallet is unknown to them.
This is exactly what I would write if I had a deadline and no knowledge about Hive.

They should do some research before making the article.

Ate you a Hive maximalist, prietene?
Nu...

Well it's basically the same old things with these media outlets. For them, anything outside the big ones that goes into the news is probably not important to them. I am a little surprised that they put WAX so high on the ladder though.

I guess a lot of us feel the same way as you.
Splinterlands game is built on Hive. Hive should be talked about in volume in the news announcements.
