Today was the start of the Riftwachers series pre-sale. It lasted... two minutes... After two minutes all the 500'000 packs were sold. But you can still get these packs, simply without having a go at the very rare promo card.

I agree, the vouchers supply came down quite a lot because of the pre-sale and also because of the validator licence run today. The price moved less than I expected but the APR in the Diesel Pools is still growing.
The pools with HIVE (both SPS and VOUCHER ones) went above 130% APR in the craziness yesterday. Even now, I believe the APR is higher on both than on licenses. APR on the SPS-DEC pool doubled too. What's strange is that the APR on staked SPS dropped. Do people prefer to put it there instead of the LPs, to avoid IL? I have the majority of my SPS staked too, but I'm not actively adding more apart from what I win in-game, but I'm ok with holding them in pools. If SPS/VOUCHER keep appreciating, I'll have more HIVE.
I also saw that and I wondered what was the reason. Maybe it has to do with the Genesis League Soccer airdrop, where only in game stakes count.
I have the same strategy for staking. What I win through the game, I just keep staked, with the rest I try to build positions in the diesel pools. Now with these APR's more than ever lol
I might stake SPS too for the airdrop and power down after that. But there's still time. Why stake now when the APRs on diesel pools are so high?
I don't get it either lol

Thanks for sharing! I did join in the fun on the dot and managed to get packs within the first 2 minutes, but it's after all a 2% chance for the promo card so not that hopeful. Haha.

Days like yesterday are a perfect example why we have a great community and I am bullish on Splinterlands. I didn't buy any packs, but I did buy my first node. I think with the licenses moving up a tranche it was still a good move. I could immediately sell it for a profit on Tribaldex. Those pools are a great idea, especially now. However, I still want more staked SPS, more cards and more powered up HIVE, before moving into those pools.
That's great. I believe it's a great investment into the future and I believe that it was a good choice to buy it before then next tranche.

Great tips about how to get Riftwatchers on the cheap, and especially about the diesel pools. I put my sps, dec, and voucher earnings into the diesel pools every day now. Very small amounts, but at those interest rates even small amounts can become quite significant.

It's a very good strategy I believe to fill these pools little by little. If you do it regularly, you profit fully from compound return.
