Why I invest in Summoners

My main investment strategy in Splinterlands is to buy as many summoners as possible. There are many reasons why I believe that with summoners you can't do much wrong.

Check out the video for more details.

Totally agree with you on this! Liking "Quix the Devious" a lot lately!

At first sight Quix seems a bit lame with his abilities but man it can be pretty powerful :-)

Very useful information provided, thanks. This is just what I needed to begin building my Summoners decks again! :)

In Splinterlands, Summoners are really the fundations to build a powerful deck. Thanks for stopping by!

Love this video my dude, though these are all things I've thought about recently (because I too am starting to pick up summoners)
But this vid is super in depth and very nicely thought and explained!
Following ya and liking!

Summoners are quite pivotal to a competitive deck.

I totally agree and since the number of available summoners is kind of limited, for me it's a nobrainer to start investing into these cards.

How is the APR on the level 2 summoners? I am just wondering because I could mix that into my rental strategy if it is good.

It really depends on the summoner and the time of the season. However it seems I have better APR on level 3 than on level 2 summoners. Both are better than level 1.

Initially, I planned to developed ALL CL cards I was interested in up to a certain level by buying what was needed from the market and then hold, waiting to get the rest by opening the packs. But I think I might change the strategy. And will probably max some cards (summoners included), and maybe not open a good chunk of my packs at all.

I believe that it doesn't make too much sense to develop all the cards. There are some cards that I have never played so far and I don't believe that they will be necessary for my gameplay. I start to develop summoners and then some selected cards that I need.

You will never know. These past few days I used one card I haven't developed at all and probably never will. And yet, it proved useful in a certain context. Strategies evolve, I've made the mistake of discarding many cards as not useful or not to be upgraded above a certain level in the past. That is until I met it in combat and that particular card I thought I shouldn't upgrade made the difference. The opponent had an extra ability or a higher attack power or higher life or speed, and that's how the battle history was written.

You really can't do wrong investing in summoners because it's the only category of cards everybody needs. Bronze players need one as much as champions who need severals to compete at this level.
Great video!

I totally agree. Without summoners you can't really play the game and since there is much less choice for summoners, I believe that they will always be in demand.

I will be developing my summoners and I will have to do it quick as they are one of the best thing to rent out and to use. This makes me ask a question, on average how much do you get alone from summoners ?
