In four days we will finally be able to open our first Chaos Legion packs in Splinterlands. I believe we are all very excited to do that. However, a very important question to ask is if you have collected enough legendary and alchemy potions to do so?

These potions are pretty important and your return on your packs can be greatly influenced through these potions...

Like how much of alchemy potion does one need to actually open one pack?

Per pack you will need 5 alchemy potions to get the full potential of your pack.

Everyone needs to walk at his own speed. The thing is, being consistent with posting and commenting really works. Before you know it, your perspective will change and you will be able to open a ton of packs ;-)

Thanks for sharing this information. I was wondering how the potion would be used when opening the packs. I have almost 50 of both potions and so far only one pack to open. They will be used automatically when I choose to open the pack. I was thinking I had to select them and apply them against the individual cards. It is good to know. I have been saving up so I will be able to get more packs later as well.

Yes they are used automatically whenever you open a pack. Now it will pay off to have some of them when you open some packs.

I believe I do have enough potions so for a small timer like me I have only 11 packs, how many positions would I need to use 1 potion for every card?
I currently have 12 of each potion.
If needed I am willing to buy more :-)

To get the maximum from your packs, you need 5 potions of each per pack. For 11 packs, you would need 55 legendary and 55 alchemy potions. You can either buy them or wait till you earn them as rewards.

That's an useful reminder! I think most of us overlooked this because we look forward to receiving cards when we open our chest rewards. Hehe!
