Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - My Strategic Thinking for Bloodline Abilities!

Hello to all Splinterlands warriors!

This is my first participation in the challenge by Splinterlands, and this is a good program for the community run by the game. This is just a way to engage about the game, but also share about the game in the alternate social media platforms. The more I try to get deeper in the game and hive, its helping me know about it.

In one of my recent battles, I learned about a new ability. It's new to me, but most of you players probably already know it. For some new players like me, every battle in Splinterlands brings a new surprise. Just imagining the enemy team possessing Bloodline Dominion and Bloodline Tribute ability in one of my recent battles gave me an idea for how to best utilise its power. You may already know this ability, but my idea might help you develop better strategies with it and improve your skills.

  • Having your Archon the Bloodline Dominion ability would be the foundation of my strategy, especially if your deck contains different cards of the same Bloodline, also because having cards of each attack power will make your team selection flexible for different rulesets and battleground conditions.

  • Next comes the Bloodline tribute ability, which grants a +1 to all stats to all allied cards with the same Bloodline when a card with the Bloodline tribute ability is defeated. This ability can play a vital role in strengthening your entire team, but using it correctly is an art that can be mastered.

This is a scene from a recent battle in which my opponent used both of these abilities, and despite having a total of three cards of the same bloodline and positioning a bloodline tribute card in the first place in the team to make it an easy target, the opponent lost. But I think the result of this battle could have been completely different if the opponent had taken some other things into consideration.

First, if the team had more cards of the same bloodline, especially cards with attacking power, it would have further increased the benefits of the bloodline tribute. I thought it was a good idea that the enemy had placed the bloodline tribute card in the first position, but the biggest mistake was that the team also had a card with the Taunt ability. As a result, my team's first attack, which should have been on the first-position card, ended up on the card with the Taunt ability.

It was difficult to do much with this team as it has fewer cards of the same bloodline cards, and in one of them is not attack-ready. Also, the opponent did a Taunt blunder. But considering a fresh strategy with these abilities, if you place as many cards with similar bloodline as possible in the team and place a low health card with Bloodline Tribute in the first position, keeping in mind that none of your other cards are attracting any kind of attack.

I only know the Taunt ability in this direction, so I don't know if there are any other such abilities. Therefore, if you build a team with good cards with similar bloodlines, keeping this in mind and placing the Bloodline Tribute card in the first position as an easy target, then as soon as that first card is defeated, all the other cards in your team with similar bloodlines will get a +1 increase in every stat.

This will not only increase their health but will also increase their attack power, speed, and armour by +1. This will strengthen not just one card but your entire team, and you will be able to put more pressure on the opponent.

I got to know about Guild and all thanks to @nozem01 for letting me know about it. I think that this is going to be another addition to my game journey on splinterlands, and I will try to learn more about this segment while enhancing my hold and command in the regular battles.

This is my little game knowledge. I may be wrong, and in that case, I will be happy to learn from you. Thank you! :)
