Saludos amigos de #hive y #alienart, espero hayan pasado una increíble semana, el día de hoy les comparto el nuevo diseño que cree para el concurso semanal de #splinterlands, de una fusión entre una sirena con tentáculos de pulpo, además de una increíble armadura para la cual use colores similares a uno de mis personajes favoritos de DC cómics (Mera). Para el diseño de la cola tome en cuenta a los peces koi, de los que tienen ese tono cremoso y manchas rojas y blancas, lo que crea un hermoso contraste con los tonos fríos del agua y la armadura.

Greetings friends of hive and alienart, I hope you have had an amazing week, today I share with you the new design I created for the splinterlands weekly contest, a fusion between a mermaid with octopus tentacles, plus an incredible armor for which I used colors similar to one of my favorite DC comics characters (Mera). For the design of the tail I took into account the koi fish, which have that creamy tone and red and white spots, which creates a beautiful contrast with the cold tones of the water and the armor.

Las kranssiren son una subespecie de sirenas que habitan en lo más profundo del océano, guardianas y servidoras del grande,viejo y poderoso kraken, tienen una alta destreza en combate a pesar de la fuerte presión que ejercen las profundidades, por eso en batallas cerca de la superficie de nota como se vuelven aún más hábiles y veloces. Nadie conoce si habitan en alguna civilización, pero por el diseño de su armadura y aspecto se cree que si existe alguna civilización en lo más profundo del océano, la cual es lo suficientemente avanzada para tener a estas poderosas guardianas, que no poseen un aspecto deforme o temible como otras especies de las profundidades.

The kranssiren are a subspecies of mermaids that inhabit the deepest part of the ocean, guardians and servants of the great, old and powerful kraken, they have a high skill in combat despite the strong pressure exerted by the depths, so in battles near the surface of note as they become even more skillful and fast. No one knows if they inhabit any civilization, but by the design of their armor and appearance it is believed that there is a civilization in the deepest part of the ocean, which is sufficiently advanced to have these powerful guardians, which do not have a deformed or fearsome appearance like other species of the depths.

Realice la base del dibujo usando el lápiz digital y un color azul, después con un color morado empecé a realizar el diseño de la armadura, el arma, la cola, tentáculos y rostro.

I made the base of the drawing using the digital pencil and a blue color, then with a purple color I started to make the design of the armor, the weapon, the tail, tentacles and face.

Realice el trabajo de línea con el color negro y la tinta dura, después de eliminar las dos capas previas con el boceto, procedí a realizar la base de color utilizando el rellenador.

I made the line work with the black color and the hard ink, after removing the two previous layers with the sketch, I proceeded to make the color base using the filler.

Detalle la cola con el aerógrafo, empezando por las aletas y terminando con las escamas. Después detalle los tentáculos, aplicándoles sombra y brillo.

Detail the tail with the airbrush, starting with the fins and finishing with the scales. Then detail the tentacles, applying shadow and gloss.

Detalle el cuerpo con tonos cremosos, y al finalizar detalle el cabello dándole brillo y volumen, finalizando con los ojos azules.

Detail the body with creamy tones, and at the end detail the hair giving it shine and volume, finishing with the blue eyes.

Para la armadura use varios tonos distribuidos en varias partes de la misma, retirando con negro y blanco para darte la textura metalica. Después detalle el casco, la tela y el arma que posee.

For the armor I used several tones distributed in several parts of the armor, removing with black and white to give you the metallic texture. Then I detailed the helmet, the cloth and the weapon.

En el fondo aplique una base de azul con degradados de otros tonos, y luego realice una luz con el amarillo, dándole la sensación de estar cerca de la superficie.

In the background I applied a base of blue with gradients of other tones, and then I made a light with yellow, giving it the feeling of being close to the surface.

Esperó les haya gustado este diseño, en lo personal me parece imponente y formidable, como una poderosa guardiana de alto rango, sin duda esos tentáculos dan esa sensación de peligro si te acercas mucho a ella, y con esa increíble cola parece que puede nadar a grandes velocidades, dando el aspecto de propulsión. I hope you liked this design, personally I find it imposing and formidable, like a powerful guardian of high rank, no doubt those tentacles give that feeling of danger if you get too close to it, and with that incredible tail seems to be able to swim at high speeds, giving the appearance of propulsion.
