Saludos amigos de #hive y #alienart, espero estén pasando una increíble semana, el día de hoy les comparto mi entrada al concurso semanal de #splinterlands, donde cada semana podemos apreciar increíbles creaciones de diversos artistas. Para esta semana decidí realizar a Magi Sphinx, porque cautivó mi atención por su diseño similar a una esfinge, solamente que posee medio cuerpo de mujer en dónde debe ir la cabeza del león, a diferencia de la Esfinge normal de cuerpo de León con rostro humano. Sin duda su diseño egipcio con un corte que nos hace pensar en Isis o Cleopatra, también es otro elemento llamativo en el diseño de este personaje.

Greetings friends of hive and alienart, I hope you are having an incredible week, today I share with you my entry to the splinterlands weekly contest, where every week we can appreciate incredible creations of different artists. For this week I decided to make Magi Sphinx, because it captivated my attention for its design similar to a sphinx, only that it has half a woman's body where the lion's head should go, unlike the normal Sphinx with a lion's body and a human face. Undoubtedly its Egyptian design with a cut that makes us think of Isis or Cleopatra, is also another striking element in the design of this character.

Para el fondo decidí realizar las famosas pirámides, haciendo varias, las cuales vienen acompañadas con las inmensas estatuas de León, como símbolo de protección a estos templos egipcios creados para Magi Sphinx, la cual además de custodiar es la que permite o niega la entrada a los que se avecinan a estos santuarios. Las estatuas pueden emanar fuego de su interior además de poseer un pequeño santuario en la parte inferior de su base, donde se le pueden llevar ofrendas. Realice a Magi Sphinx con un imponente tamaño en comparación con el pequeño camello y su montador al cual le detienen el paso, para ser juzgado a ver si puede continuar o no con su camino.

For the background I decided to make the famous pyramids, making several, which are accompanied with the huge statues of Lion, as a symbol of protection to these Egyptian temples created for Magi Sphinx, which in addition to guarding is the one that allows or denies entry to those who come to these sanctuaries. The statues can emanate fire from their interior in addition to possessing a small shrine at the bottom of its base, where offerings can be brought. I made Magi Sphinx with an imposing size compared to the small camel and his rider who is stopped to be judged to see if he can continue his journey or not.

Realicé la base del dibujo usando el lápiz digital y el color azul, empezando con el personaje y después con el fondo. Luego con el color morado empecé a definir el dibujo.

I made the base of the drawing using the digital pencil and the blue color, starting with the character and then with the background. Then with the purple color I started to define the drawing.

Con la tinta dura y el color negro realice el trabajo de linea, después elimine las capas previas y realice la base de color.

With the hard ink and the black color I made the line work, then I eliminated the previous layers and made the color base.

Detalle las alas, vestimenta y los accesorios de sphinx, después detalle el cuerpo de León usando varios tonos de marrón. Al terminar detalle el cabello.

Detail the wings, clothing and sphinx accessories, then detail the lion's body using various shades of brown. Finish by detailing the hair.

Realice los tonos piel y detalle los ojos, después detalle al cabello y su jinete, y la base de tierra en dónde se encuentran. Para terminar con el personaje realice fuego en ambas manos.

Me encantó realizar esta ilustración, además de ser la primera que realizó en este año, siendo las alas una de las cosas que más me encantó realizar por sus tonos semi dorados y la gran cantidad de puntas y la forma en que las distribuí. Sin duda alguna la figura de Magi Sphinx es una figura imponente, que demuestra poder con sólo verla, una criatura digna de admirar, y con un aspecto temible, en especial al momento de concentrar fuego en sus manos. I loved doing this illustration, besides being the first one I did this year, being the wings one of the things I loved the most because of their semi golden tones and the large number of tips and the way I distributed them. Undoubtedly the figure of Magi Sphinx is an imposing figure, which shows power just by looking at it, a creature worthy of admiration, and with a fearsome appearance, especially when concentrating fire in his hands.
