Saludos amigos de #hive y #alienart, espero hayan pasado una maravillosa semana, el día de hoy comparto con ustedes mi entrada al Concurso Semanal de #Splinterlands, que para quien no lo conozca, es un concurso donde cada semana varios artistas comparten sus creaciones y diseños basadas en las cartas del juego. En esta ocasión opté por diseñar mi propio personaje original con temática de Halloween, basándome en las calabazas comúnmente usadas como decoración en fiestas y en las entradas de localidades en dicha festividad.

Greetings friends from #hive and #alienart, I hope you have had a wonderful week, today I share with you my entry to the Splinterlands Weekly Contest, which for those who do not know it, is a contest where every week several artists share their creations and designs based on the cards in the game. On this occasion I chose to design my own original character with a Halloween theme, based on the pumpkins used as decorations at parties and on the entrances of towns on said holiday.

Alyssa, también conocida como "Reina de Calabazas", es un ente que vuelve a la vida sólo por el mes de octubre, mes en el que siglos atrás el bosque donde vivía fue destruido junto con su hogar por guerreros sólo para la construcción de un nuevo pueblo y caminos. Al pasar de los años el poder de Alyssa hizo crecer poco a poco los árboles, haciendo que el bosque se recuperará, pero es sólo en el mes de octubre que vuelve a la vida y usa su poder para atraer a aquellos guerreros o personas que pasen por su bosque, a excepción de aquellos que han demostrado cuidar y respetar al bosque y a las criaturas que viven en el. Los guerreros suelen caer fácil ante la belleza de Alyssa, sin saber que tras ese hermoso rostro se encuentra su posible final. Alyssa obtiene su poder completo las últimas noches de octubre y este aumenta su hay Luna llena, haciendo que su alcance para atraer víctimas a ella sea de mayor alcance, al terminar octubre sólo queda la pequeña máscara de calabaza que se ubica a un lado de su rostro, en lo profundo del bosque, donde es casi imposible conseguirla, la cual nuevamente por todo un año sigue haciendo crecer la vida forestal.

Alyssa, also known as the "Pumpkin Queen", is an entity that comes back to life only for the month of October, a month in which centuries ago the forest where she lived was destroyed along with her home by warriors only for the construction of a new town and roads. Over the years Alyssa's power made the trees grow little by little, making the forest recover, but it is only in the month of October that she comes back to life and uses her power to attract those warriors or people who pass through her forest, except for those who have shown care and respect for the forest and the creatures that live in it. Warriors tend to fall easily before Alyssa's beauty, without knowing that behind that beautiful face lies their possible end. Alyssa obtains her full power on the last nights of October and this increases her full moon, making her reach to attract victims to her more powerful, at the end of October only the small pumpkin mask that is located on one side of her face, deep in the forest, where it is almost impossible to get it, which again for a whole year continues to grow forest life.

Realicé la base del diseño utilizando el lápiz digital y el color azul haciendo un círculo para las calabazas y la pose del personaje. Después con el morado y el mismo lápiz digital, procedí a darle forma realizando la vestimenta, facciones y otros detalles.

I made the base of the design using the digital pencil and the blue color making a circle for the pumpkins and the pose of the character. Then with the purple and the same digital pencil, I proceeded to shape it by making the clothing, features and other details.

Con la tinta china procedí a realizar el trabajo de líneas para posteriormente eliminar las dos capas previas y realizar la base de color utilizando el rellenador, aplicando sus respectivos tonos en cada área.

With Chinese ink, I proceeded to do the line work to later eliminate the two previous layers and make the color base using the filler, applying their respective tones in each area.

Procedí a detallar la vestimenta con el aerógrafo triangular, realizando primero la parte del traje, seguido de las medias, botas y por último los guantes.

I proceeded to detail the clothing with the triangular airbrush, making the costume part first, followed by the stockings, boots and finally the gloves.

Detalle el área del cabello utilizando 3 tonos de anaranjado. Luego procedí a aplicar las tonalidades de la piel, culminando con los detalles de los ojos, labios y cejas.

I detailed the hair area using 3 shades of orange. In the next step, I proceeded to apply the skin tones, culminating in the details of the eyes, lips and eyebrows.

Seguidamente procedí a detallar el cetro, en el cual aplique tonos dorados en la parte del mango; aplique ciertos detalles en la calabaza para luego detallar la parte inferior del cetro. Después detalle la calabaza gigante sobre la que está sentada el personaje, usando sus respectivos tonos de colores para aplicar el efecto de sombra y volumen, culminando con el largo tentáculo verde.

Then I proceeded to detail the scepter, in which I applied golden tones on the part of the handle; applied some details on the gourd to later detail the lower part of the scepter. Then detailed the giant pumpkin where the character is sitting on, using their respective color tones to apply the effect of shadow and volume, culminating with the long green tentacle.

Para finalizar, realicé un fondo negro con tonalidades verdes y lucecitas anaranjadas para darle un aspecto tenebroso y sombrío que generara la sensación de que Alyssa se encuentra en las profundidades de un bosque aterrador.

To finish, I made a black background with green tones and orange lights to give it a dark and gloomy appearance, that will generate the sensation that Alyssa is in the depths of a terrifying forest.

Esperó les haya gustado esta creación, a mi me gustó mucho diseñar su vestimenta e historia, además de continuar con la temática de Halloween y representarla en mis diseños, tenía tiempo que no participaba con una creación original en vez de un fan arts, incluso creo que el último diseño original para splinterlands lo realicé con colores en vez de hacerlo en digital.
