Playing Splinterlands for the First Time

Greetings!

For so many days I have been thinking of joining Splinterlands and playing the game for a long time. That day is today when I officially joined Splinterlands. What draws me to this game is that there is a vibrant community that is very loyal to the game. I also saw a regular drawing competition about the game. And of course, the opportunity to earn while playing is included in one of my reasons to officially join.

Buying a spellbook

I bought my first spellbook using the #Hive that I earned from blogging. The spellbook contains some credits and a card pack that I immediately opened (see gif image below). After opening the card pack I proceeded to educate myself about the website and most importantly about the card and the game's mechanics.

Playing ranked battle on Modern and Wild

After educating myself about the website and some of the mechanics of the game I proceeded immediately into playing ranked battle. I also want to thank @chiboulette @chiboulette2 for delegating me some cards that I am using in battling at Wild and Modern. And after some getting to know about the card I was glad to advance to BRONZE III where I could actually earn.

After advancing to BRONZE III I noticed that the completion has become a lot tougher. So I decided to buy some cards using the credits that I got from the spellbook. Below are some of the cards that I already own (including the ones from the pack that came with the spellbook).

Here are some of the battles that I won that advanced me to BRONZE III. Being promoted to BRONZE III got me excited because BRONZE III is the league where I can actually earn rewards.

After some battles in BRONZE III, I can now feel the fierce competition. What I only noticed is that I am being matched up with 500+ and with a much better card than I currently own. At the moment of this writing, I already posted 100+ battles in Modern and about 20-30 battles in Wild.

I have an account, and I tried playing free mode ages ago - it was fun but, then, Gods Unchained stole my attention. :)

I even have SL cards from expansions - I won them on Hive contests.

I always felt I was too late to join the game. But I also was late to join Gods Unchained :D

Hope HoloZing will be fun, it's not late to join it. :D

It is nice to know that you also have a splinterlands account. I hope I can still crawl my way up.

And yes, I think HoloZing will be fun, I am so excited for its release.
