August Revenue Rolls In Even Higher Than July

In this video, I cover the recent post from the SPS DAO with the August Invoice from the team. The numbers were even better than what we saw in July and the DAO now has enough credit to last through mid October which is fantastic. On top of that, the early September numbers show that the credits are continuing to roll in higher than what is needed so we are continuing to cruise along - and this is all before any major release like Land Buildings or a revenue generator like Battle For Praetoria. I'm excited to see what else the team may be cooking up over the next couple of weeks!

Great—if everything goes well, that’s wonderful.

Great to hear buybacks are performed. But I have a question: why do we go with an effort to acquire and peg DEC and not focus on SPS?

It is actually my preference to prioritize SPS as well, but I know that since the DAO is paying out the back end of credits transactions, we are trying to reduce the amount of DEC being recirculated back into the ecosystem due to market purchases - a good problem but still one worth addressing. I believe once DEC is at 50% of peg, the buy back focus will shift to 50/50 which will be great.
