MY SPLINTERLANDS CHRISTMAS WISHLIST!

Christmas may be over, but I still have my holiday wish list that I'm hoping the team can deliver sometime in Q1 - the earlier the better! Here they are in no particular order:

Battle Pass

The battle pass is probably one of the best ways to provide some kind of progression tracking for players. I've now been in the Splinterlands ecosystem for almost 18 months and I'll be honest, every season is starting to feel the same. I'm hoping we get some kind of trophy room tracking our accomplishments and seasonal goals and rewards we can pursue, just for the sake of flexing to our friends and the community.

2v2 Mode

This might be the feature I'm most excited about. I think it will bring a tremendous social aspect to the game. Livestreaming is already fun, but imagine being able to do it with a couple of friends or taking challenges from duos in the community. Just by adding this game mode, they will offer a change in meta without implementing anything else. It will also make it easy to onboard new players as you can play with them to cover all of the basics of the game. If they can understand 2v2, they should be able to quickly pick up the traditional solo game.

Guild Alliances

As of now, this is the only feature on this list that has a target date for Q1 per the most recent town hall with WeirdBeard. I'm excited for this mode as I think sub-communities within Splinterlands play a crucial role in the community aspect and being able to expand on this will have a positive effect. Guilds are limited to only 30 people, but now if you have more than that you can bring guilds together to work towards common goals. I'm also looking forward to some solid token sinks from this as well.

So there you have it, my 3 most desired features for the first part of next year. No idea if we'll get them but that's why this is a wish list! What's on yours?
