The Biggest Burner Of SPS Tokens

In this video, I go through some of the data shared by the Elmo Burns site showing who the largest burners of SPS are. There is a clear winner which I've discussed in the past - and that is the Splinterlands team. And it's by a wide margin too.

This is why I'm always tracking how much DEC the team is holding because it is crucial to the flywheel (burning SPS for DEC). Since the DAO has now paid 1.2B DEC for the Conclave Arcana mini set, the team will be sitting on a lot of DEC for awhile which essentially pauses the flywheel as that DEC is circulated back into the ecosystem.

Unfortunately there isn't a better option right now as the team does require DEC to pay out credits transactions, but hopefully as the DAO grows and diversifies it's assets we will be able to pay the team in tokens other than DEC in the future.
