In this video, I discuss why top players should be buying energy once the new reward rework goes live on April 2nd. The math works out quite well if you are an average players (50% win rate) - which is exactly what this new format aims to put each player at. When you consider all the other benefits you get from Glints, breaking even is totally worth it.

The top players in modern. You're right at 4 cent per energy earning SPS is even going to be better, but you'll have to win the games to get 24 SPS per win. So it's good business. When the new system kicks in, it'll double like you've said. And I hear that modern is touted to get more reward.
