My Magic Isn't That Weak
I wanted to try a lineup that focuses on stacking armor while still dealing steady damage. With the Weak Magic modifier, magic attacks no longer ignore armor which changes how I value tanky units. This made me more comfortable building multiple frontliners instead of relying on only one tank. I also liked the idea of combining Flank and Taunt to control where the damage goes. The goal was simple, keep my tanks alive long enough while my backline slowly wins the fight.

In this battle, I have a good advantage because the enemy does not have any Sneak units. This means that Captain Fellblade, which is my main damage, is very safe at the back. With multiple tank units in the front, like Coralforged and New Beluroc Aegis, it is very easy for me to defend my team. Abyssal Elemental bridges the gap between a damage dealer and a tank in case I need more. I didn't use a lot of high melee damage so the enemy Demoralize isn't that useful against my team.

Modifier 1: Weak Magic: Magic attacks hit Armor before reducing Health.
My Lineup:
I built this lineup with a mix of frontline durability and backline pressure. I wanted multiple tanks to take advantage of Weak Magic while still having Sneak magic damage in the back. The idea was to slowly win trades while my opponent struggles to break through my armor. With Flank and Taunt together, I can also control positioning and protect my main damage.
Marlai Singariel: I used Marlai Singariel mainly to boost my magic damage. Even though this match focuses on armor, I still wanted consistent pressure from magic attacks. The +1 magic helps Captain Fellblade and Abyssal Elemental become more threatening. It also keeps my damage relevant even if the battle lasts longer.
Coralforged: Coralforged is my opening tank because of the Flank ability. I like that it allows the unit behind him to still attack while staying protected. This helps me keep damage flowing without sacrificing positioning. He also fits well in a multi tank lineup where I don’t want to rely on only one unit.
New Beluroc Aegis: New Beluroc Aegis works perfectly here because of Taunt and solid armor. With Weak Magic active, that armor becomes even more valuable against magic damage. I also like how Taunt pulls attacks away from my backline units. This helps keep Captain Fellblade safe while the frontline absorbs everything.
Abyssal Elemental: Abyssal Elemental feels like the bridge between damage and survivability. The magic damage benefits from Marlai Singariel while the armor helps in Weak Magic fights. I also like Resurgence because it gives him another chance if he falls. That extra life can sometimes stall long enough for my backline to finish the fight.
Captain Fellblade: Captain Fellblade is my main damage in this lineup. Having Sneak on both magic and melee damage makes him very flexible. Even without armor, his high health keeps him alive long enough in the back. With no Sneak threats from the enemy, I felt comfortable letting him carry the damage.
