The Fickle Five

This lineup focuses on high health units to survive the burning from Zyrx the Emberglace. Earth Element gives access to stronger defensive units. I also added Tank Heal support to keep the frontline alive longer. Blast and Deathblow from Nidhoggr are placed on high damage units. The goal is to deal heavy damage while surviving the Incendiary effect. High Five Modifier allows enough slots to balance damage and sustain. This makes the lineup more stable overall.

In this battle, I changed the usual Water Element lineup to Earth element. The main reason is that Water Element doesn't have a lot of high health units which I think is needed to withstand Zyrx the Emberglace's Incendiary and burning. With this lineup, I have Giam Root increasing everyone's health, although, it's only a little. Earth Element also has Satha Toledo supporting with her Tank Heal at the back. Usually, this lineup has one more strong attacker for the Blast ability but I prioritize Giam Root over them because of the high health and Strengthen ability. I win in overall quality over my enemy's units which made me just plow through their lineup one by one.

Modifier 1: High Five: Up to five Units can be used.

My Lineup:

This lineup focuses on high health units to survive the burning from Zyrx the Emberglace. Earth Element gives access to stronger defensive units. I also added Tank Heal support to keep the frontline alive longer. Blast and Deathblow from Nidhoggr are placed on high damage units. The goal is to deal heavy damage while surviving the Incendiary effect. High Five Modifier allows enough slots to balance damage and sustain. This makes the lineup more stable overall.

Nidhoggr: Nidhoggr can give Blast and Deathblow to up to 3 units or +2 Speed and Execute to up to 3 units. Also gives -1 health and -1 armor to all enemy units. This is a really strong archon especially if you give the Blast and Deathblow to high damage units. Blast scales with damage so the more damage, the better. Blast also activates per attack so units like Zyrx the Emberglace gets two blasts, one for each attack.

Ulundin Overseer: High health unit without any attack which makes him a pure wall. He is placed in front to absorb damage for the team. The Flank allows the second unit to attack as if in first position. This keeps the main damage unit safe while still attacking. His high health also helps handle the burning damage. Ulundin Overseer is important for to have another tank that Zyrx the Emberglace can work with since Zyrx the Emberglace is still one of the main damage for the team and needs to survive for longer.

Zyrx the Emberglace: Main damage and secondary tank for the lineup. He has insane 5 melee damage and 2 magic damage which are perfect for Blast. Flying ability helps him evade melee and range attacks. He also has Incendiary which gives burning to himself and nearby units. This burning deals 2 damage each round which becomes risky in long battles. I gave him Blast and Deathblow because of the two attacks. This allows him to deal massive damage quickly.

Night Reaper: Night Reaper has good 3 magic damage which is strong with Blast. He also has Flying which helps survivability. Wingbreak allows him to target flying units with increased damage. This gives extra value against certain enemies. I gave him Blast and Deathblow because of the high damage. He works as secondary damage dealer which is very good with Blast and Nidhoggr's abilities in general.

Giam Root: High health unit but low range damage which is fine. Even though he already has 11 health, he also has Strengthen. This gives +1 health to all friendly units which helps against burning. I found this very useful since Incendiary keeps damaging my team. The extra health gives more room before the units die. I also gave him the last Blast and Deathblow expecting Satha Toledo to die early. Giam Root improves survivability for everyone which is what I think the team needs previously.

Satha Toledo: She is my support unit with Tank Heal. This helps Ulundin Overseer survive longer in the front. Later she can also heal Zyrx the Emberglace when he moves forward. Tank Heal is very important when using a wall unit. This keeps the frontline stable through all the enemy damage and burning. Satha Toledo is not a core part of the plan so even if she dies early, it's fine.

Switching to Earth Element improved my survivability a lot. The higher health helped handle the burning from Zyrx the Emberglace. With this new change in the lineup, I am starting to win more which now took me to Silver 2.
