Spirit of the Forest
This is a fan art with which I participate in the splinterlands art contest (week # 173).
This week I return to propose a participation in the splinterlands artistic contest. This time I go back to a traditional watercolor process and I chose a character who lives in the thickest forests. Belonging to the kingdom of the woods, this character can fly and takes advantage of this characteristic in particular to always be attentive to the dangers that his little creatures of the woods may have to encounter. A sort of mother nature, which today would be very useful to protect the environment.
Questa è una fan art con la quale partecipo al contest artistico di splinterlands (settimana #173).
Questa settimana torno a proporre una partecipazione al contest artistico di splinterlands. Questa volta torno a una lavorazione tradizionale ad acquerello e ho scelto un personaggio che abita le foreste più fitte. Appartenente al regno dei boschi questo personaggio può volare e approfitta di questa caratteristica in particolare per essere sempre attento ai pericoli che le le sue piccole creature dei boschi possono dover incontrare. Una sorta di madre natura, che oggi a protezione dell'ambiente servirebbe davvero moltissimo.
PROCESS
Inizio con un velocissimo sketch in miniatura per sperimentare e trovare la posizione che preferisco
Ora inizio a strutturare il personaggio con delle linee leggere
Proseguo aggiungendo dettagli e dando forma al tutto
Continuo ad aggiungere dettagli, ora manca solo la fase di inchiostrazione di cui purtroppo ho dimenticato di fare una fotografia!
Passo alla colorazione con acquerello e completo il personaggio
