Hive - My Favorite Hobby.

I've been on Hive since the beginning, and there have been many ups and downs along the way, as is usually the case for a good portion of its users. What I love most about this space is the ability to share how I feel, what I think, and what I want to convey in general, without any fear of judgments. I can say that no other online space gives me as much freedom to express who I truly am, through my creativity and my minimal ability to craft a narrative on the topics I write about.

Ever since I was a child, I've enjoyed reading a lot, which consequently led me to enjoy writing. In school, I was always very good at essays and literature, and I have a habit of always having a notebook nearby so that in moments of confusion, when I need clarity in my mind, I can put down on paper how I feel and reflect on the possibilities of choices I have. Not surprisingly, my work in real life involves writing, and all the jobs I excelled at also involved it. I say this because every time I tried to work in areas that didn't involve creativity and textual production, I didn't do very well and was always stressed.

On Hive, writing is also part of my daily life, and as much as I hope that this kind of relationship with this space will happen one day, I can't say that Hive is like a job. As I write this text, I feel relaxed, I don't have to exert much effort to make the words come together as I want; this is enjoyable for me and makes me feel good, so writing is a hobby for me. I didn't have to learn to write to work or to be on Hive; I started writing as a child because I enjoy it, making money from it is just a consequence of this hobby, which is undoubtedly the oldest one I have.

Over time, my relationship with Hive has brought me a lot of well-being and some money. Although every time I withdrew some money from here, it was to pay bills, I am very grateful to know that it's money earned from the pleasure I feel in writing.

One of the most interesting moments I had on Hive was being able to write about Splinterlands. However, unlike other players, what intrigued me the most about Splinterlands were the mythological characters that some of them represented. For a brief period, I conducted research on mythologies and related certain legends from different cultures to some of the game's characters. I greatly enjoyed the entire creative process behind it - the research, the similarities between the powers and characteristics of the characters and the legends, and the textual production involved. However, due to personal matters in real life, I stepped away from Hive and abandoned this project. Unfortunately, upon returning, as I found writing stories about the game more interesting than playing it itself, I couldn't progress beyond the Bronze League, and I learned that it would be frowned upon to continue writing for Splinterlands without reaching at least the Silver level. I was a bit saddened by the situation, but I moved on. Nonetheless, I find it interesting to mention this specific moment I had here, not because I made a lot of money (because I didn't), but because it reveals how much I enjoy mythologies, mysteries, and writing about these more paranormal aspects that accompany the history of humanity.

Perhaps one day, I will write a fiction book. I wonder if at that point, I will still say that writing is a hobby. However, one thing I am certain of is that I will love being called a Writer.

Hive - meu hobby favorito.

Estou na Hive desde o início e de lá para cá foram muitas idas e vindas como normalmente costuma ser para boa parte de seus usuários. O que mais gosto desse espaço, é poder compartilhar o que sinto, o que penso e o que quero mostrar no geral sem medo algum de julgamentos. Posso dizer que nenhum outro espaço online me dá tanta liberdade para expressar quem realmente sou, através da minha criatividade e capacidade mínima de criar uma narrativa sobre os temas dos quais escrevo.

Desde criança que eu gosto muito de ler e consequentemente isso me fez gostar de escrever. Na escola eu sempre fui muito boa com redações e literatura, e tenho comigo um hábito de ter sempre um caderno por perto pra que em momentos de confusão, em que eu precise de alguma clareza em minha mente, eu possa colocar no papel como me sinto e refletir sobre as possibilidades de escolhas que tenho. Não a toa, meu trabalho na vida real envolve a escrita, e todos os trabalhos em que eu fui boa também; digo isso pois todas vezes que tentei trabalhar em áreas que não envolvessem criatividade e produção textual, eu não me dei muito bem e estava sempre estressada.

Na Hive, a escrita também faz parte do meu dia a dia, e por mais que eu deseje que esse tipo de relação com esse espaço aconteça um dia, não posso dizer que a Hive é como um trabalho. Enquanto escrevo esse texto, eu me sinto relaxada, não preciso me esforçar muito pra que as palavras se combinem como eu quero; isso é divertido pra mim e faz com que eu me sinta bem, logo, a escrita para mim é um hobby. Eu não tive que aprender a escrever para trabalhar, nem para estar na Hive, eu comecei a escrever desde criança porque eu gosto, ganhar dinheiro com isso é apenas uma consequência desse hobby, que sem dúvida é o mais antigo que tenho.

Ao longo do tempo minha relação com a Hive já me promoveu muito bem estar e algum dinheiro. Embora todas as vezes que retirei algum dinheiro daqui tenha sido para pagar contas, sou muito grata por saber que é um dinheiro ganho pelo prazer que eu sinto de escrever.

Um dos momentos mais interessantes que tive na Hive, foi poder escrever sobre Splinterlands. Porém, diferente de outros jogadores, o que mais me interessava em Splinterlands eram os personagens mitológicos que alguns deles representam. Durante um breve momento, eu fiz pesquisas sobre mitologias e relacionava algumas lendas de culturas distintas com alguns personagens do jogo. Eu gostava demais de todo o processo criativo sobre isso; a pesquisa, as semelhanças entre poderes e características dos personagens com a lenda, e a produção textual envolvida. Porém, por questões pessoais na vida real, eu me ausentei da Hive e abandonei esse projeto. Infelizmente ao retornar, como pra mim era muito mais interessante escrever histórias sobre o jogo do que jogar em si, eu não consegui mais sair da Liga de Bronze, e fiquei sabendo que seria mal visto continuar escrevendo para Spinterlands sem conseguir chegar ao menos na nível Prata. Lamentei um pouco a situação, mas segui em frente. Porém considero interessante mencionar esse momento específico que tive aqui, não porque ganhei muito dinheiro( até porque não ganhei), mas porque revela o quanto gosto de mitologias, mistérios e de escrever sobre esses aspectos mais paranormais que acompanha a história da humanidade.

Um dia, quem sabe, escreverei um livro de ficção. Me pergunto se nesse momento ainda direi que a escrita é um hobby. Porém, uma certeza eu tenho, adorarei ser chamada de Escritora.
