What is it like to live in the underworld of Splinterlands?

Those who read my last post about Splinterlands know that I recently returned to Hive after a long hiatus. Naturally, I decided to start playing Splinterlands again after all this time. The truth is that it had been even longer since I last participated in a battle, and I quickly realized that many things had changed, or maybe I just noticed it now, since I was never a dedicated player, but rather a casual one.

Upon returning to the game, I obviously started as a newbie and gradually tried to reach the modest level of Bronze III. What I noticed, although it's just a suspicion, is that my opponents were all bots. I came to this conclusion because they have very similar names. Luckily for my dignity, I was able to win most of the battles and reached my first goal of reaching Bronze III.

I thought, "My God, is this the underworld of Splinterlands? Where there really are no humans to play with me and my first big challenge is to beat bots? LOL." But it worked out well, otherwise I would have felt terrible.

I don't know if the Splinterlands team themselves create these bots so that newcomers like me can start playing, since the big players always end the season at higher levels, or if they are people who don't have time or are too lazy to play and simply have the bots play for them. If someone can explain this to me, I would appreciate it, it's a genuine curiosity.

When I reached Bronze III, I lost my first battles. To be exact, I had six matches and only won two. I came to the conclusion that my cards are really weak and my deck is not numerous. In addition, my most valuable cards are rented out because I did not have the habit of playing and I really spent some time away from Hive. But that will change, as in the next few days I will take my cards out of the rental to see if I can at least reach Bronze I. I know it will probably be a difficult task, especially considering my opponents' decks at the level I'm at, but I want to try and see how far I can go. Before ending this text, a curious fact: in Bronze III, my opponents have people's names, haha.

Quem leu o meu último post sobre Splinterlands sabe que eu voltei para a Hive recentemente, depois de um longo hiato. Naturalmente, decidi voltar a jogar Splinterlands depois de tanto tempo. A verdade é que fazia ainda mais tempo que eu não participava de uma batalha, e logo percebi que muitas coisas mudaram, ou talvez eu tenha apenas reparado nisso agora, afinal, nunca fui uma jogadora assídua, mas sim uma jogadora casual.

Ao retornar ao jogo, obviamente comecei como uma novata e fui aos poucos tentando conquistar o modesto nível Bronze III. O que percebi, embora seja apenas uma suspeita, é que meus adversários eram todos bots. Cheguei a essa conclusão porque eles têm nomes muito parecidos. Para a sorte da minha dignidade, consegui vencer a maioria das batalhas e alcancei minha primeira meta de chegar ao Bronze III.

Pensei: "Meu Deus, esse é o submundo de Splinterlands? Onde realmente não existem humanos para jogar comigo e meu primeiro grande desafio é vencer bots? LOL". Mas, que bom que deu certo, senão me sentiria péssima.

Não sei se a própria equipe de Splinterlands cria esses bots para que novatos como eu possam começar a jogar, já que os grandes jogadores sempre terminam a temporada em níveis mais altos, ou se são pessoas que não têm tempo ou têm preguiça de jogar e simplesmente fazem com que os bots joguem por elas. Se alguém puder me explicar isso, agradeço, é uma curiosidade genuína.

Ao chegar no nível Bronze III, perdi minhas primeiras batalhas. Para ser exata, eu tive seis confrontos e só venci dois. Cheguei à conclusão de que minhas cartas são realmente fracas e meu baralho não é numeroso. Além disso, minhas cartas mais valiosas estão alugadas, pelo fato de que eu não tinha o hábito de jogar e realmente passei um tempo fora da Hive. Mas isso mudará, pois nos próximos dias tirarei minhas cartas do aluguel para ver se consigo chegar, ao menos, ao Bronze I. Sei que provavelmente será uma tarefa difícil, principalmente levando em conta o baralho dos meus adversários nesse nível em que me encontro, mas quero tentar e ver até onde posso chegar. Antes de terminar este texto, um fato curioso: no Bronze III, meus adversários têm nomes de pessoas, haha.
