Winning with fewer cards than my opponents + That's why magic is the skill I like the most.

It's been a while since I wrote about Splinterlands. I had to be absent from Hive for the last few months because real life demanded a bit of me. I came back a few weeks ago already thinking that at some point I would write about the game again because it's something that always stimulated my creativity and imagination.

Those who used to follow me a few months ago know that I wrote a series of posts relating Splinterlands characters to mythologies from various cultures. It was something I really enjoyed doing and that I plan to do again soon. However, today I'd like to talk about my first few matches since I returned to Hive.

Undoubtedly, I would like to have more time to devote to the game because I know it's the kind of game that deserves a bit of dedication, study, and of course, investment. I don't even remember the last time I left the bronze league, but to be honest, I prefer to have my cards rented or play a game or two to distract myself than to invest a lot and not have time to dedicate myself as much as Splinterlands deserves. Therefore, in this new phase, I plan to share a game or two, where I will play in my free time just to distract myself.

I played the first one yesterday. I was lucky to win the first game after months without playing. At first glance, if you notice my team's composition, you might think that the merit of the victory was my Diemon Shark dragon's, but if you watch the game until the end, you will see that the performance of all the characters was very valuable for this victory.

Today's match, I confess, was my favorite. I used the Centaur Mage in the front, and the Mantoid in the rear. The duo was perfect, especially having a Summoner like Obsidian, which of course, didn't make a difference for our insect friend, but made a total difference for the Mage.

Returning to play Splinterlands was more fun than I imagined. I hope to continue writing weekly, or maybe even daily, about my battles.

Já faz algum tempo que eu não escrevo sobre Splinterlands. Tive que ficar ausente nesses últimos meses da Hive porque a vida real me cobrou um pouco. Voltei há algumas semanas já pensando que, em algum momento, voltaria a escrever sobre o jogo, pois é algo que sempre ativou minha criatividade e imaginação.

Quem costumava me acompanhar há alguns meses atrás sabe que eu escrevi uma série de posts relacionando os personagens de Splinterlands com mitologias de várias culturas. Era algo que eu realmente gostava de fazer e que pretendo voltar a fazer em breve. Porém, hoje gostaria de falar das minhas primeiras partidas depois que retornei para a Hive.

Sem dúvida, eu gostaria de ter mais tempo para me dedicar ao jogo, porque sei que é um tipo de jogo que merece um tanto de dedicação, estudo e, claro, investimento. Eu nem lembro qual foi a última vez que saí da liga de bronze, mas, para ser sincera, prefiro ter minhas cartas alugadas ou jogar uma partida ou outra para me distrair, do que investir muito e não ter tempo para me dedicar ao quanto Splinterlands merece.

Por isso, nesta nova fase, pretendo compartilhar uma partida ou outra, em que jogarei no meu tempo livre, apenas para me distrair.

A primeira delas, eu joguei ontem. Tive a sorte de ganhar a primeira partida depois de meses sem jogar.

À primeira vista, se você notar a montagem do meu time, poderá pensar que o mérito da vitória foi do meu dragão Diemon Shark, mas se assistir à partida até o final, verá que o desempenho de todos os personagens foi muito valioso para essa vitória.

A partida de hoje, confesso, foi a minha favorita. Usei a Centaur Mage na frente e o Mantoid na retaguarda. A dupla foi perfeita, principalmente tendo uma Summoner como a Obsidian, que, claro, não fez diferença para nosso amigo inseto, mas fez uma diferença total para a Mage.

Voltar a jogar Splinterlands foi mais divertido do que imaginei. Espero continuar escrevendo semanalmente, ou quem sabe até diariamente, sobre minhas batalhas.
