Splinterlands art contest week 350;- A digital art of Mermaid Healer..

Hello everyone, I am delighted to share my inaugural drawing of Mermaid Healer as a submission for this week's contest. This artwork was inspired by my previous piece, Mischeavous Mermaid, which I created several months ago.

Upon discovering the character, I was immediately captivated by it and promptly commenced working on it, utilizing a pen to create the initial sketch and subsequently painting it digitally. As the name suggests, and with the aid of the original character's reference, I successfully designed the image to revolve around a first aid theme, depicting the character beneath the ocean.

I incorporated multiple shades of green into the character's face and attire, with blue used for its hair and light pink for its skin texture. The character's eyes were specifically designed to depict its healing powers. A detailed explanation of this design process is presented below and I hope you find it interesting..
