Noxious Fumes ruleset

Description:

All units are Poisoned at the start of the game.

Units with Immunity are not poisoned.
This is a one-time application - units that are cleansed, resurrected or rebirthed will not be re-applied with poison.
Enrage is triggered by Poison application.

The Battle Ruleset

Earthquake: Non-flying Monsters take 2 Melee damage at the end of each round.
Noxious Fumes: All Monsters start the battle Poisoned.

This is a low mana ruleset game and almost every color is available to play, except the Death and Dragon Splinters. The low mana cap makes it very difficult what to choose, because the Poison would kill my low mana monsters quickly. many times it is better to pick one monster with Heal, Life Leech or Immunity ability in order to survive longer than you opponent monsters.

The Earthquake ruleset combined with the Noxious Fumes is a killer combination, so it will be interesting to see what my opponent will bring. 😀

My Team Composition

Alric Stormbringer is my all time favorite Summoner within my favorite Splinter, which is the Water. He gives +1 magic to all of his friendly monsters for only three mana.

The Torrent Fiend is just a decoy in order to save my main monster in my backline giving her as much as time is possible to survive the Poison. This monster cost zero mana, so it is an easy fit into any team without a lot of mana.

The Kelp Initiate cost only 2 mana as well and he has quite a lot of speed and health in exchange of that. He also has an amazing ability, which is Cleanse, so he will remove the Poison from the monster in the first position.

The Runemancer Kye is my main monster and it is very important for her to survive longer than my opponent monsters. Her main ability to resist the Poison damage is the Life Leech, so she will increase her own health by one or two with all the damage she makes. With the help of Alric she will have an amazing 4 magic damage and her Flying ability will makes her immune against the Earthquake ruleset.

The Furious Chicken is just an extra bullet eater if my opponent would happen to bring a Sneak monster and this chicken cost only zero mana as well, so it was a no brainer to use him.

This battle was a low mana battle and the Poison ruleset makes it even more difficult to choose. This time I choosed the Runemancer Kye and her Life Leech ability, because I have rented Alric who gives her +1 magic attack.

My opponent brought the Forgotten One with Tarse who has the Immunity ability, so he will completely ignore the Noxious Fumes, but he can not fly, so he will take damage from the Earthquake.

In the first two round all the monsters died on the battlefield except the two big boss and will see who will prevail over the other.

Even thought the Forgotten One has higher damage he had to deal with the armor first on my Runemancer, which gave her the upper hand over him and deleted him out of the existence. 😌

Yes I like it, because it is interesting to see what the peoples are going to bring to overcome this ruleset. The Earthquake was an extra spicey addition and choosing the Runemancer Kye who is immune against the Earthquake was a winning decision. 🤣
