Description:

Only Monsters & Summoners that cost 4 Mana or less may be used in battles.

Monsters and summoners of 4 Mana or less will be the only ones available in this ruleset. Try increasing your defense by using summoners that give +1 armor or +1 health. Use monsters with at least 2 magic damage and 2 ranged damage. Using Mylor as summoner in this ruleset helps a lot.

The Battle Ruleset

image.png

Reverse Speed: Monsters with the lowest Speed attack first and have the highest chance of evading attacks.
Target Practice: All Ranged and Magic attack Monsters have the Snipe ability.
Little League: Only Monsters & Summoners that cost 4 Mana or less may be used in battles.

This is low mana ruleset game and almost every color is available to play, except the Water and the Death Splinters. The Reverse Speed ruleset is very important for this battle, because whoever attacks first will most probably win the battle. The reason for that is that in Little League most of the monsters doesn't have too much health so the quicker you attack the quicker you will make an advantage for yourself. 😀

My Team Composition

image.png
The Obsidian is one of the best Chaos Legion Summoner in the modern and wild format, because she gives +1 magic damage to all of his friendly monsters.
image.png
The Failed Summoner cost only 2 mana and he is an excellent tank especially in a mirror match, because he has the Magic Reflect ability, which will reflect some of the magic damage back to its attackers.
image.png
I used the Fungus Flinger to blind my opponent melee an ranged monsters and if he would die he will increase the stats of the monsters next to him.
image.png
Queen Mycelia is a support monster, because she gives two armor to all of his friendly monsters, but her most important ability is the Triage, which will heal one of the monster in her backline who damaged the most.
image.png
The Djinn Biljka is the perfect damage monster, because he has +2 magic damage and he will receive +1 from the Obsidian. He is untargetable for the enemy monsters as long as there are some monsters front of him and the Void ability will help a lot against the enemy magic attack monsters.
image.png
The Halfling Alchemist is one of the best de-buffer in the game, because he has the Halving ability, which means when he hit its target the damage of that monster will be halved.
image.png
I used the Doctor Blight the possibility to heal the enemy monster in the front position using his Afflicition ability. He also has the Poison ability, which will damage 2 Poison damage in every end of the round.

The Battle

My strategy was to deal as much damage as possible within the shortest period of time and ignoring the enemy armors. My plan was to take advantage of the Reverse Speed ruleset, so I used the slowest monsters from the Earth splinter, which was an easy task.

FOr some reason my opponent brought a speedy summoner and he made sure that all of his monsters were slower than mine. 😀

The Target Practice ruleset allowed my magic and ranged attack monsters to prioritise their ranged and magic attack monsters first avoiding all the melee attack monsters in the battle, so by the end of the first round my opponent lost half of its team.

My opponent team was way quicker than mine, so they couldn't even hit my monsters properly and the huge +1 magic damage buff helped a lot to my team to kill the enemy monsters one by one until the third round.

Do you like Little League? Why or why not?

Yes, I like it, because I have tried few good team setup and I do not really need to think what to bring into these fights, because this ruleset heavily limits the options to choose from.
