Splinterlands Land 2.0 whitepaper start - excitement growing

we had yesterday another nice surprise from the Splinterlands Team. In this post, we get the first information, from the whitepaper of the land release 2.0.

I'm amazed how complex the game will become, beside the card game play with daily battles, tournaments, and brawls. It will have a very deep economy, a big resource management thematic, which reminds me of the sim city that I played in the 1990s.

The laboratories will be crucial, and I'm glad to have an epic magical plot, producing already. Sadly, I don't own too many forests, as wood seems to be the most used material, next to grain. I will probably buy wood, in exchange for ores.

The Castle/Keeps, will have the rune foils production, which is needed for the Polished Gemstones. Here will be the question, if it is going to be monopolised or not, which I will probably say no, as for example, in our Clan Region, the Castle is used for the clan, and resources will be used to upgrade the guild.

We have some clan members that own several Castles and Keeps. I own a Keep and 103 plots, and probably will seek to buy further plots after I optimise the ones I have.

What is amazing, is that we have also out of land resource generators, like liquidity providers or some potions or the Guild Power provided during the past years. I'm happy to have been of the major contributors to our guild.

There is even another use case for Legendary and Alchemy potions, beside the increased chances on packs. I will probably burn most of my potions today, after the Rebellion new set release, so there might be that these potions will increase a lot in value, if they are used for packs.

The whole scheme brings a new way to strategies the game. I can tell that I need more cards and more DEC. I will not touch SPS for DEC gain, and mostly will stake it on a daily basis.

Together with our guild colleagues, we are working on a strategy to manage the complete process. When land surfing will be enabled, we will let our members, who don't have any land, to use them, but anything can be decided, when we will get the complete whitepaper. For now, we only see that we need to stake more and have more assets to have the best efficiency of the guild and the members in it.

I'm super excited about the development and see the entire process as a long marathon, not a sprint. I'm glad that we are having the resource management part, which I love doing. Optimising, finding angles of improvement and tweaking the whole day on it.

I see you are very excited about the launch of the Splinterland white paper and I also want you to also be excited about the ongoing zealy quest because the announcement for the prize distribution will be made today.

Again I noticed that you are way down the leaderboard but not to worry, you can get back in and complete the recovery quests so you can have a share of the reward pool

The real land things . Had been I have not known about Splinterland . I would be somewhat relate them to real estate things , instead of blockchain related gaming.

Nonetheless . You don't need to let your quest , while it still fresh and actively on. Do get on and go the prize there you can gain all of the necessary point required to have a share from the prize pool.

That's a very interesting point about the Castle/Keeps and their potential for polishing gemstones. It's hard to say for sure whether or not the resource production will be monopolized, but it seems like it could be a point of contention if there's limited availability of gemstones. And that's a good point about the clan using the Castle as well, that could create an interesting dynamic.

I noticed you have not been participating in the zealy marketing campaign. I encourage you to rejoin the campaign, it promises to be exciting and great with great rewards to benefit from.
