Newbie on hive and leofinance. My introduction post

Hello guys. I am alhakeem and I stumbled on this wonderful social media or should I call it advanced web 3 a couple of days ago on Twitter... I am new to the world of cryptocurrency and as a gamer I wanted to learn more. Fortunately for me, I saw a tweet from @abdex9 talking about Bitcoin which drew my attention and was a wonderful read. I tried to sign up immediately and here I am. I tried to contact him on Twitter to get a little briefing on how it works and I'm really surprised with the little information he gave. I'm new and I'd love to know more about this community as a whole. I'm interested in finance, gaming and politics. I've been reading some good articles here from @taskmaster and I'm impressed.

What trilled me the most is the splinterlands community and how everything works over here. I can't wait to get in and start some battles. I don't know how things work but would love to learn with time. It is good to be here
