Todays 22 mana battle was very interesting and exciting and I managed to secure a great victory. Low mana battles are always challenging when it comes to monster selection because your options are limited.

With such a low mana cap choosing just two or three monsters is usually enough to fill your mana which often creates confusion. However if you select your monsters according to the rulesets and follow a proper strategy that battle can definitely turn into a win.

This battle featured two special rulesets and I built my strategy around them. The first ruleset was Fire and Regret which means that 50% of the damage dealt is reflected back to the attacker.

For example if my monster attacks with 2 melee damage then 50% of that damage is returned to the attacking monster. In Fire & Regret battles it is very important to avoid selecting ranged attack monsters. If you must use them, place them in a position where they won't create major problems for your team.

The second ruleset was Outsider which allows you to summon one wild unit. Keeping this in mind I selected Health Healer Archon and chose Dread Trafarrain as my tank monster.

I also added a melee attacker with decent health. I picked Archon as a healer because the return damage ruleset continuously reduces your monsters' health. A healer helps offset that damage and improves your teams survivability throughout the battle.

It was an excellent and exciting battle. I selected only two monsters and my opponent also chose two monsters. Looking at the lineups, my opponent had more attack power and stronger armor than I did.

However because I followed a proper strategy and battle plan, my favorite monster that is Dread Traffarain kept healing itself for +2 health every round.

In the early rounds my second monster was eliminated. However, Dread Traffarain was left alone in a 1-vs-2 situation and managed to fight back. One by one, it eliminated both enemy monsters and secured an impressive victory for me.

The star performer of this battle was undoubtedly Dread Traffarain. It has a mana cost of 9 and is a melee attacker. It attacks every round and is considered a strong tank monster because it has solid armor and health.

It also possesses the Heal ability which restores one-third of its maximum health every round. It is an excellent monster to have in your deck especially considering its affordable price. You can usually purchase this card for around $2 making it a valuable addition for many players.

What do you people think about Dread Traffarain? Do you have this card in your deck? Will be glad to see your answers in the comment section.
