An interesting high mana battle where there were two very easy rule sets and the total focus was on strategy and monster selection. Here the rule sets are not the kind that interfere much in battles but still you have to pay attention to some special points that can make your monster selection better.

In any high mana battle you get a good opportunity for monster selection where you can successfully make a good strategy plan. If you have good monster cards in your deck then you do not struggle in any mana battle.

Since this is a high mana battle you can easily place your best monsters here and plan your strategy while keeping these two rule sets in mind.

In easy battles and rule sets like these the battle becomes more interesting and tough because both sides get the opportunity to select good monsters and there are no restrictions.

Let's understand these two rule sets in this 53 mana battle and what these rule sets tell us and what things we need to keep in mind.

RULESET 1- ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED

The first rule set is Are You Not Entertained? where you are allowed to summon one additional Gladiator. If you have many Gladiator monster cards in your deck you can select only one of them. Unfortunately I do not have any Gladiator monster card available so this rule set was completely useless for me.

This rule set will have no effect on my strategy because I do not have any Gladiator card that I can select. Instead I have normal Frontier and Legendary cards that I will select and there is no restriction on selecting these cards.

RULESET 2 - FOG OF WAR

The second rule set is Fog of War which is a special rule set. In this rule set all units whether they are allied units or enemy units lose these three abilities Sneak, Snipe and Opportunity.

Most monsters have these abilities but in this rule set all these abilities are lost. The battle depends only on the power of your monsters.

If you select monster cards with good powers and place them in special positions you can easily win this battle. In this type of rule set it is also important to understand that positioning can be a very big reason for your win. So position your monsters properly so that you can win this battle.

MY STRATEGY AND PLAN ACCORDING TO THE RULESETS

Keeping these two rule sets in mind what strategy did I adopt? I selected an Archon with the +1 Health ability so that all my units get an additional +1 health at the start of the battle. This makes my tank monsters stronger and my strikers get one health as support.

On the frontline I placed a healer monster and it is also a melee attacker with good health. So it will continuously deal damage while also healing itself. This means that in every round its health will continue to increase by one third.

Similarly in the second position I selected a melee attacker with the Reach ability so that it can easily attack while staying in that position. Then in the middle positions I placed a mixed combination of Magic and heavy ranged attackers who would continuously make heavy strikes against the enemy units. My last monsters are also heavy attackers.

Overall I adopted an aggressive stance in this battle because tank monsters often play a bigger role in high mana battles. So my first focus should be to eliminate those monsters that are a major obstacle for me in the battle.

As soon as I entered the battlefield and saw the selection of the enemy units monsters they were quite similar to my monsters. The opponent also selected a monster with the +1 Heal ability and in the same way he also placed a healer on the frontline along with some similar monsters. I said that this would be a very tough and interesting battle.

IN THE BATTLEFIELD

In the early rounds good attacks could be seen from both sides. Also because both sides had placed good healers the continuous healing process was also continuing. But the good thing is that my strategy continued according to my plan and my frontline kept healing continuously and absorbed damage until round seven.

Because of this all my other monsters kept receiving good protection and except for my frontline all my monsters remained alive. I got an excellent victory in this battle.

In these types of rule sets and high mana battles my victory is possible only with a good strategy and good cards. In this battle I would give the credit to my favorite monster card Dread Tafarian because of which I got an excellent victory in this battle.

The reason is that it continuously kept healing its health and also continuously absorbed damage. This means it was doing two jobs in one. It was protecting its allied units while carrying out the strategy exactly the way I had planned. And in this battle I got the victory.

What would your monster selection be in this type of rule set and battle and which strategy would you adopt? Will be glad to see your answers in the comment section.
