One Wrong Positioning Cost Me This Winning Battle — 41 Mana Battle With a Brutal Ending

This battle was pretty much in my grip but because of one small mistake namely my wrong positioning I faced defeat in this battle.

Todays 41 mana battle was very interesting and thrilling and until the end a suspense mode kept being created about which team was winning and which one was losing.

I lost this battle only because of one wrong positioning otherwise this battle was very competitive and close. Before entering any battle it is necessary to understand the ruleset properly, match it according to your strategy and implement it.

If you understand the ruleset correctly then according to it after doing your selection and positioning your win rate in the battle can increase. But if you blindly select monsters without making any strategy and without combining the rulesets then you can face defeat in this battle.

In this 41 mana battle I saw two rulesets which were very easy but interesting.

RULESET 1 - OUTSIDER

The first one was Outsider where you will only be allowed to summon one Wild unit and apart from that all the other Wild units will be disabled and you will not be allowed to select them.

So keeping this ruleset in mind you need to adopt this strategy that you should summon the strongest Wild unit from your deck which has good health and powers.

Because this is a mid mana battle high health monsters are given more preference here.

RULESET 2 - UNPROTECTED

The name of the second ruleset was Unprotected which as the name shows means that your protection is removed.

Meaning all the units whether they are allied units or enemy units all their armor becomes zero and above all they cannot gain armor from any Archon or ability.

Meaning all the monsters that have armor will lose their armor and they will fight directly on health.

So keeping this ruleset in mind instead of focusing your Archon on armor abilities or choosing strong armor it is much better to give preference to high health monsters.

In this ruleset it is important to select high health monsters and give them good positioning.

MY STRATEGY AND PLAN FOR THE BATTLE

Keeping these two rulesets in mind what plan did I make?

I selected the plus one health ability for my Archon monster which means that all my allied units will have their health increased by plus one and they will get great survivability.

On the front line I selected a strong tank monster and healer which means that it will continuously absorb damage and at the same time at the end of every round it will heal one by three health of itself.

Because of this continuous damage absorption my other allied units will remain safe.

In the second position I selected a high health ranged ability monster whose job is to keep making melee attacks even while staying in the second position.

Now where I made my mistake was that I selected a high ranged attacker monster in my third position. I should not have done that.

Instead I should have selected it in the fifth or sixth position.

Similarly in my back position I again selected a mix combination of magic and ranged attackers so that there would be an aggressive stance and along with defense there would also be continuous attacks so that the enemy units would also keep getting eliminated continuously.

ON THE BATTLEFIELD

What happened on the battlefield?

When I compared my monsters with the enemy unit monsters there was some confusion because the monsters were almost the same and I could not understand how my units would perform in this battle.

In the first and second rounds continuous attacks kept happening and no monster was eliminated.

In the third round one monster from my side and one monster from the enemy side were eliminated.

In the fourth round I got a very big shock and that was that my strong tank monster and healer ability monster was eliminated and now I did not have any strong defensive lineup.

But the good thing is that in round five a good comeback was seen where two tank monsters of the enemy units were also eliminated.

Now the mistake that I was talking about starts from here.

My strong ranged attacker named Kicking Roc came to the front line and because it is a ranged attacker it did not make any attack after this round even though its attack power is three.

If it had continued attacking the whole game would have changed but because as you know ranged attackers do not attack from the front line because of its inability to attack I faced defeat in this winning battle.

And in round seven you can see that my magic attacker and my backline position monster was left alone at the end and the enemy still had a very strong attacker because of which I faced defeat in this battle in round eight.

But still this battle was very interesting and I would call my favorite monsters in this battle my backline position monsters because due to their continuous attacks the enemy units frontline was destroyed and I got to see a new life in the battle again.

What would your strategy be in this type of ruleset and which monsters would you give more preference to? Will be glad to see your answers in the comment section.
