The Combination of Power of Three and Earthquake Made This Battle More Interesting — Here's My Strategy

In #splinterlands, every battle has high chance of win if you properly understand the rulesets. With the time your levels are upgraded, you will see more technical rulesets which is also an interesting part of the battle.
In the beginning, you usually dont encounter modifiers but gradually the number of modifiers increases to two or even three, making battles much more technical. If you understand the modifiers properly and select and position your monsters with the right strategy and planning, it can significantly improve your chances of winning.
Today's 46 mana battle was very interesting and I secured an excellent victory. The main reason behind this success was that I selected my monsters and arranged their placement according to the active rulesets. First let's understand the two rulesets that were active in this battle.

POWER OF THREE
The first ruleset was Power of Three. In this ruleset every monster with a mana cost of exactly 3 receives one extra power. In other words if a Melee or Ranged monster costs 3 mana then it gains an additional attack point.
if I have a monster with a mana cost of 3 and an attack power of 2 then it will increase from 2 to 3 that effectively receiving a bonus of plus one attack.
However I completely ignored this ruleset because I had better monster cards with higher mana costs and much stronger overall stats. Therefore, I did not select any 3 mana monster and instead chose high mana Melee, Ranged and Magic attackers.

EARTHQUAKE
The second important ruleset was Earthquake. This effect starts from Round 2 and at the beginning of every round it deals 2 physical damage to all units.
However, monsters with the Flying ability are immune to this Earthquake damage because they remain airborne and are not affected by the physical impact.
This makes Flying monsters extremely powerful in battles with this ruleset. If you have Flying monsters available you should definitely consider selecting them as they can safely avoid this heavy damage.

WHAT WAS MY STRATEGY
Keeping these rulesets in mind, I selected five monsters while my opponent selected six monsters. After analyzing both rulesets my main focus was to prioritize monsters with high Health, followed by strong attackers.
The reason for choosing high Health monsters was to help them survive the constant Earthquake damage that occurs every round. With greater Health they can remain alive in battle for a much longer time.
My second priority was selecting powerful attackers because while Earthquake continuously reduced the enemy's Health, my offensive monsters could quickly deal additional damage and eliminate enemy units even faster.
Based on this strategy I created a balanced combination of Melee, Ranged and Magic monsters and selected a summoner with a -1 Health ability so that the enemy team's Health would be reduced even further.
The most important concept in this battle was to reduce the enemy units' Health as much as possible. Since the Earthquake ruleset keeps dealing damage every round, lowering their Health in advance makes it much easier to eliminate them quickly.

In today's battle, Sorrow Harvester proved to be my favorite monster, mainly because of its special ability called Weaken. This ability reduces the Health of all enemy units by 1, making them much easier to defeat and creating additional opportunities for victory.
Another great feature of this monster is that it is a Magic attacker that consistently attacking with 2 Magic damage every round.
What do you people think about Sorrow Harvester? Do you have this monster in your decks? will be glad to see your answers in the comment section.
