The Power and Limits of Thalgrimore in Splinterlands

In this battle of Splinterlands I really felt like writing about it. Even I lost this battle but it still gave me an important lesson... Sometimes losing also teaches us many things and this battle was one of those moments for me.
The biggest mistake from my side in this battle was the wrong selection of monsters. While making my team I did not think carefully about balance. I should have kept at least one or two attacker monsters in my team so that my side could also deal damage to the opponent.
But by mistake I selected mostly defensive and support monsters.
When the battle started I realized that out of my four monsters there was not even a single proper attacker. On the other hand most of my opponents monsters were attackers. Because of this every round their monsters kept attacking my team again and again while from my side there was mostly only defense happening.
The mana cap of the battle was 32 so I selected four monsters according to that limit and my opponent also selected four monsters. My thinking at that moment was that since the mana was not very high it would be better to focus more on defense.

I thought if my monsters survived longer then maybe I could win the battle... But in reality it was against the expectation. A battle cannot be won with defense alone. Since my team did not have strong attackers, my monsters could not deal enough damage to the enemy team.
The opponents monsters kept attacking every round and slowly my monsters started getting eliminated one by one. In the end all of my monsters were destroyed and that is how I lost the battle.
In this battle Thalgrimore. Even though my team lost I was quite impressed by this monster and its abilities. Thalgrimore has good health which allows it to stay in battle for a longer time compared to many other monsters.
Its defense system is very strong and becauuse of its defensive strength it can absorb damage and protect the rest of the team for some time. Its abilities also make it useful as a support monster in many situations.

Like every monster Thalgrimore also has some weaknesses. Its attack power is not very strong which means it cannot defeat enemy monsters quickly by itself. If a team depends only on monsters like Thalgrimore and does not include strong attackers then the chances of winning become lower. Fast monsters or monsters with high damage can also create problems for it during battle.
what do you people think about this monster? have you ever used this, tell about its any ability. Will be glad to see your answers in the comment section
